Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have lined up a huge business move for Pickle Cottage, just in time for the inside scoop of their family life to air on the BBC this spring

Stacey Solomon has yet another major project coming up amid her super busy 2025 thus far.

The X Factor star is known for her life on Pickle Cottage, a fancy yet rustic £1.2 million Essex property with an expanse of land. She shares the country life with her EastEnders actor husband Joe Swash, 43, alongside their collective brood of six kids – three of whom they share while Stacey has two from a prior relationship and Joe has the oldest teen. Adding to the family, they’re also a home to their Insta-famous dogs Teddy and Peanut, and their flock of ducks roaming free and wreaking havoc.

Now, Stacey, 35, has applied to take advantage of the fame of her homestead and trademark ‘Pickle Cottage,’ so that she can create and sell a range of furniture, candles, and cosmetics under the banner.

According to The Sun, the application Stacey submitted to the Intellectual Property Official will also allow her to sell official Pickle Cottage products for kids, with toys and books also included in the classification.

Stacey’s savvy business move came soon after her huge recent announcement – that she’s teaming up with the BBC to create a reality TV show about herself and her family.

Earlier this week, she shared a photo of her Pickle Cottage tribe on Instagram, alongside a caption describing the mixture of excitement, gratefulness, and nerves she had while creating the show.

“A new year. A very new adventure. Coming Spring 2025. We’ve been so nervous and excited to share this. Here is us. All of us. In 2024 we opened up our home and made a series about our lives, family, work and everything in between,” she wrote.

“It was a huge leap into the unknown and it’s been an absolute whirlwind making it. But last year as a family we decided to say yes to more and do things we’d never done. We have spoken about making a documentary for a long time, lots of you have asked too. So here we go. A journey with us every second of the way. Through the laughter the tears and the craziness… We hope it makes you smile, feel good and hopefully enjoy getting to know us all a little more.”

An insider shared recently that while Stacey might seem like the face of the operation, Joe is more than ready to get in on the action. “Joe wants to be more involved – they have a big family and they want to work together. They also know they’ll be under scrutiny and the kids will become a lot more famous, but they all love being in front of the camera,” they said.

The source close to the couple added: “Stacey knows there will be criticism, but this is about the big picture… It’s the ideal way for Stacey to be at home and still earn money to give them the best possible life.”
