Coronation Street star, Stephanie Davis, failed to mention her boyfriend, Joseph McKalroy, on Father’s Day just five months after they welcomed their son into the world
Coronation Street’s Stephanie Davis has split with her boyfriend Joseph McKalroy ahead of Father’s Day. The couple welcomed their son, Samuel, into the world in January after getting together in 2022.
However, today, Steph made no mention of Joseph as she shared a photo of her own father with a heartfelt caption, thanking him for helping with her two sons Caben and Samuel, adding “there aren’t many men like you.” Responding to her post, one fan asked: “Where’s Joe?” while another said: “I think they have split up”. A third agreed, saying: “I think so too as they both had each others name on their bios with a heart, which they don’t anymore. It’s such a shame if they have as they were a gorgeous little family!”
Joe and Stephanie became parents to their son, Samuel, in January, as Joe penned the caption of an Instagram post, sharing a snap of his baby son, which read: “Welcome to the world my beautiful baby boy Samuel McKalroy.
“Named after your uncle the one and only who will always weigh heavy on my heart I wish so much that he could’ve met you and cherished you as much as I do.
“It has been a traumatic experience but you are finally here in our arms. I never thought I could possibly love your mummy anymore than I already do but this is just so special and an unconditional love I cannot explain with words.
“I love you more than you will ever know”.
Stephanie, who shares seven-year-old son Caben with former CBB star Jeremy McConnell, responded: ‘Sobbing reading this my heart. I love you more than anything in this world. I couldn’t love you more I’m so blessed to have you as a daddy to our boys xx. You carried me though that, it was so tough. I love you more than you will ever know xxxxxxxx.”
Somewhere Over The Rainbow star, Stephanie, has endured her fair share of heartache over the years. In 2022, she revealed she had suffered a devasting miscarriage at three months, heartbreakingly sharing she woke up one morning and ‘didn’t feel pregnant anymore’.
Admitting that she and Joe were “heartbroken”, she said: “The anxiety, the heartbreak and the sadness we have gone through was horrendous. Me and Joe were so excited and already had visioned and planned a life with our family of four.
“I was already looking at what I was doing for my baby shower. You think when you get further on like I was that everything will be ok, so it was a big shock.”
Before meeting Joe, the actress had a turbulent romance with Irish model, Jeremy. After their doomed relationship following CCB, Jeremy was found guilty of assaulting his then ex-girlfriend Stephanie in 2007.
McConnell, then 27, attacked Miss Davis at her home in Rainhill, Merseyside while she was holding their baby son, Liverpool Magistrates’ Court heard.
The Mirror has contacted Stephanie’s reps for comment.
