Strictly pro Dianne has enjoyed a romantic trip away with her boyfriend of five years, Joe Sugg – the star has shared some enviable photos of their time in Valetta, Malta
Strictly pro Dianne Buswell has stunned fans after sharing a series of incredible snaps from her romantic break away with boyfriend Joe Sugg.
Aussie dancer Dianne, 35, wore a retro pink and white swimsuit in some of the photos, showcasing her lean figure as she enjoyed a peaceful breakfast on a terrace in Valletta, Malta. In a reel posted to her Instagram, Dianne showed off her enviable holiday, complete with several stunning outfit choices and sunsoaked scenery.
The red-haired star could be seen relaxing on a window ledge, looking elegant in a wide-brimmed hat as she gazed out to sea. Another snap saw her in a white mini sundress, stepping through a patio door on to the balcony.
Dianne wrote: “The most incredible few days staying at the most amazing hotel with magical views of valletta’s harbour @inialaharbourhouse a pinch me moment for sure. Malta you were just stunning and you now hold a special place in my heart can’t wait to be back.”
In another series of photos of their time away, she tagged YouTuber Joe Sugg, adding: “You do know how to take a good picture,” followed by a smiley face.
Back in October, OK! reported that Dianne and Joe were ‘going through a difficult time,’ but it seems that everything is going great for the couple again, after the couple enjoyed a trip to Australia in December, as well as their Malta holiday.
In a previous interview with Closer magazine, Dianne revealed the couple want to start a family. She said: “I think definitely for sure at one point we’ll have children. It’s something we’d both love, but we don’t know when just yet. We always say our kids are going to watch YouTube videos of us dancing one day, and that’s so cool!”
Dianne admitted that it was “crazy” that she found true love on Strictly, explaining that they both wonder what would have happened if they weren’t paired up on the show. She said: “We do wonder whether we’d actually have met. If he hadn’t been on the show, I wouldn’t have got to know him!”
Dianne’s partner Joe explained they kept things professional while still on Strictly together. Speaking on The Useless Hotline Podcast, he explained: “As the weeks went on, there was definitely a feeling there. It was like, ‘I fancy that person, I wonder if they fancy me’. There was definitely feelings there at some point. These dancers, they are a different breed of people, they are brought up from a young age to be the best and win everything. So when you go into it, there’s no room for any of that farting around.
“She was serious, and I wanted to get to the final as well because the longer you stay in, the better it is, more opportunities afterwards, and I genuinely loved being on the show and wanted to learn every dance style there was.”
