Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal, who earned their highest score to date of 29 out of 40 with the Quickstep over the weekend, have been at the centre of the Strictly romance rumours
Strictly Come Dancing star Pete Wicks was all smiled as he left training with his professional dance partner Jowita Przystal.
The duo, who earned their highest score to date of 29 out of 40 with the Quickstep over the weekend, have been at the centre of the Strictly romance rumours thanks to their undeniable chemistry and great connection on and off the dance floor. They returned to the stage on Saturday night for another routine together as they impressed the judges.
Following their successful routine, they returned to their rehearsals to put in the hard work for the next show. Leaving rehearsals this week, Pete showed off his pearly whites to the cameras while rocking a beanie, Adidas sweatpants and a bomber jacket. He walked alongside fellow Strictly star Dr Punam Krishan.
In pictures shared online, Jowita was seen looking cosy in light pink trousers, a pink sweater and a colourful coat as she left rehearsals. Pete received huge compliments from the judges after their routine this weekend, with Shirley Ballas telling him and Jowita: “You belted across that floor. I don’t think I have ever seen anybody shift their weight across in a quick step like that and that is a good thing.”
She added: “That shows that your technical qualities are starting to get better, your frame start up is exquisite, it drops a bit in the middle but so does everybody elses at week four. I love the smouldering look that you had between the two of you. I didn’t mind that little hip role at the end, it was a little treat actually.
“You sir are improving week upon week.” They were met by cheers from the crowd as Pete and Jowita beamed at each other. Meanwhile, as Pete danced with Jowita for their rouine, he lifted up his shirt to show what looked like a new tattoo.
The new ‘ink’ depicted Strictly judge Craig Revel-Horwood holding up his ten paddle, to indicate a perfect routine on the dancefloor. As is well known among Strictly fans, it takes a lot to get top marks from Craig but on the show’s Instagram account, they have declared that Pete may have got himself the first perfect score of the series.
Sharing a photo of Pete’s ‘tattoo’ on the BBC dance show’s official Instagram account, they captioned the snaps with: “Technically this is the first 10 of #Strictly 2024”.
