Strictly Come Dancing star Tasha Ghouri opened up on her shock split from Andrew Le Page. The couple met each other on Love Island in 2022
Strictly Come Dancing star Tasha Ghouri revealed she was the one to break up with Andrew Le Page after a fan questioned their breakup under one of her social media posts.
Andrew and Tasha met on the 2022 season of Love Island, alongside other contestants like Ekin-Su, Davide, Luca, and Gemma. In 2024, they celebrated two years together and even adopted a dog called Luna. The former couple also created an Instagram account to document their home renovation journey.
However, fans were shocked when it was revealed the couple split up at the beginning of this year. Tasha and Andrew have kept their breakup away from the spotlight but Tasha most recently gave fans a sneak peek at her new home after living with Andrew for so long.
And now, Tasha hit back at a fan on TikTok when they commented on how she was seen on celebrity dating app, Raya, after another fan asked why she was single. She wrote in response to curious fans: “No, I ended the relationship. there was many things behind closed doors.”
Another fan had commented: “I personally think Tasha and Andrew should be commended neither of them have said one nasty thing about each other sometimes you can love someone but not be in love with that person any more. So lets.” The Love Island star replied: “Always will still care for him!! Exactly you said we’re on good terms and don’t hate each other x.”
One fan said: “Seems like andrew lost the dog too,” but Tasha reassured fans they’re sharing custody of their rescue pup. Tasha said: “Incorrect he gave her to me cause he’s in Guernsey and we’re sharing her. We’re both still on good terms.”
Her clarification to fans follows Tasha addressing her breakup with Andrew and responding to online criticism, with some trolls accusing her of “taking” their dog, Luna, from Andrew. Taking to Snapchat, Tasha previously penned: “Since there’s so many horrible messages I’ve got about taking Luna off Andrew – first off, she is our dog who we got together. He is in Guernsey & decided to leave Luna here with me as he couldn’t take her, it wasn’t ideal. When he’s found a place back in the UK, we will be working out a way for both of us to see her.”
Tasha then revealed she “didn’t want to comment on this” however, felt like she had to after getting messages that she was “a horrible person, scum, etc,” the star felt the need to put her foot down. The former Love Island star then continued: “No-one knows what went on in our relationship behind closed doors. Don’t believe every headline you read in the press. Break-ups happen in life. Just because ours is in the ‘public eye’ doesn’t make it any different.”
