Strictly Come Dancing star Tasha Ghouri has broken her silence on her split from Love Island co-star Andrew Le Page months after it was first revealed

BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing finalist Tasha Ghouri has broken her silence on her split from former boyfriend, Andrew Le Page.

It comes after trolls accused the 26-year-old of ‘taking’ their dog Luna off Andrew. Taking to her Instagram to hit back at the trolls, Tasha addressed the fact Andrew, who recently broke down in a video after moving out of their shared home, had moved back to his parents’ house in Guernsey.

Taking to Snapchat, Tasha penned: “Since there’s so many horrible messages I’ve got about taking Luna off Andrew – first off, she is our dog who we got together. He is in Guernsey & decided to leave Luna here with me as he couldn’t take her, it wasn’t ideal. When he’s found a place back in the UK, we will be working out a way for both of us to see her.”

Tasha then revealed she “didn’t want to comment on this” however, felt like she had to after getting messages that she was “a horrible person, scum, etc,” the star felt the need to put her foot down.

The former Love Island star then continued: “No-one knows what went on in our relationship behind closed doors. Don’t believe every headline you read in the press. Break-ups happen in life. Just because ours is in the ‘public eye’ doesn’t make it any different.” Tasha then concluded by telling fans to “spread kindness – also to Andrew because he’s also been getting messages. Thank you. I won’t be answering any more on our relationship and Luna.”

It comes just days after Andrew told fans that he has “cried more times” than ever this year and would be heading back to his homeland of Guernsey. He also recently told fans he “missed Luna so much” revealing he kept having to re-film his Snapchat video due to choking up. “She doesn’t even know it’s her birthday, but I miss her so much and hope to be with her again soon,” he said.

Tasha and Andrew met during the 2022 series of Love Island, alongside Islanders including Ekin-Su, Davide, Luca and Gemma. In 2024, the couple celebrated their two year anniversary and adopted their dog, Luna. The couple even made a dedicated Instagram for their dream home, where they had been documenting their renovation journey.

However, sadly it wasn’t meant to be as it was revealed the couple had called it quits at the start of this year. Last week, Tasha took to social media to say the split was private. “I won’t be speaking on the situation – it’s a private side of my life which I’m still dealing with internally and mentally. It’s private for me and as much as I do want to share it with you all, one day I will, but I’m still processing everything that has happened and going on.”
