Although we typically search through the Boxing Day sales in hopes of spotting a bargain pair of trainers or a beauty gadget we’d been eyeing up, it’s also a great time to make some major savings on travel. From planning your big 2025 summer holiday to finding a bargain last minute winter getaway, there are plenty of airlines and booking sites who have launched a Boxing Day sale.

With companies like EasyJet offering up to £400 off bookings and Jet2 offering discounted add ons and free child travel, to Expedia granting travellers up to 30% off select hotels, there’s never been a better time to start planning your next trip away.

Boxing Day flight deals

EasyJet sale

EasyJet might already be known for its affordable flight packages to destinations all over the world, but you can currently save up to £400 on bookings when you use the code JANSALE . By using the code you can save £400 on a minimum spend of £4,000, £300 on a minimum spend of £3,000, £150 on a minimum spend of £1,500, £100 on a minimum spend of £800 or £50 on a minimum spend of £500. It’s not just flights you’ll save on either; the offer applies to hotel package bookings too, with locations all over the world including Spain, Morocco, Egypt and more.

Jet2 sale

Another popular budget-friendly airline, Jet2, is also offering some great savings on its holiday bookings that fall between now and November 2026. As part of its Boxing Day deal, Jet2 members can save up to £100 off per person on all holidays booked, 20% off flights and 15% off all summer 2025 and summer 2026 flights. For non-Jet2 members, you’ll be able to save 15% off all flights, and 10% off all summer flights in 2025 and 2026.

Virgin Atlantic sale

If you’ve got a big holiday in mind, Virgin Atlantic’s Boxing Day sale is about to be your new best friend. With massive savings on holidays to faraway destinations including America, Dubai, the Caribbean and Canada, all you need to do is decide where your next adventure will be. Round trip flights from London to New York start at £365 in the deal, or you can hot foot it to Dubai with flights from £427 per person. You just need to make sure you book by February 3 2025.

If you can’t decide what type of holiday you want to book next year, Love Holidays winter sale might give you some inspiration. With up to £400 off selected long-haul destinations, up to £250 off selected beach holidays and up to £175 off selected city breaks, you can find just about any type of trip you want in the sale. Destinations include Rome, New York, Jamaica, Thailand and Greek islands, so you’ll be spoilt for choice on where to go.

Expedia sale

If you’ve got your flights covered but want a little more choice when it comes to choosing where to stay abroad, Expedia’s Boxing Day sale can help. It’s currently offering up to 30% off selected hotels, so you can pick from quirky local stays to luxury hotels to suit your travel style.

Hilton sale

No matter where in the world you want to travel, you’re just about guaranteed to find a Hilton hotel to stay in. For those who love their Hilton holidays and are planning a weekend getaway next year, you can currently save up to 20% on weekend stays from more than 500 different European properties. The offer is valid on stays between January 28 and April 21, making it perfect for planning a romantic Valentine’s Day surprise.

G Adventures sale
