Victoria’s Secret angel, Candice Swanepoel, used these ‘incredible’ cooling and de-puffing eye masks before hitting the runway
The Victoria’s Secret fashion show was back again this week, and if you’ve been wondering what some of the beauty secrets are behind the angels’ glowing complexions, we’re here to help.
In some backstage snaps, a few of the models were spotted wearing under-eye masks, and Victoria’s Secret legend Candice Swanepoel had a pair we recognised straight away.
The model was seen wearing the 111Skin Cryo De-Puffing Eye Mask, (priced at £85 for 8 or £50 for 4) a cult favourite among make-up artists and celebrities for their instant cooling and tightening effect. You can also shop them at SpaceNK and Sephora.
Infused with seaweed extract, peptides, and vitamin E, the masks are designed to soothe puffiness, brighten dark circles, and leave the under-eye area looking refreshed and lifted. Perfect for early mornings or long-haul flights.
The cooling hydrogel texture also gives a cryotherapy-like finish, helping the skin feel firmer, smoother, and de-puffed in just a few minutes. No wonder they’re a backstage favourite!

It’s not only the angels that love these de-puffing masks; shoppers have been praising them as well. One shopper wrote: “Can’t recommend these highly enough, incredible results!I use these regularly to give a rested look and plump up my under eye area before an event. They really work Love love love them”
A second added: “Love these so much – my go-to when I’ve had a late night or feeling dehydrated and puffy they’re so effective and comforting to wear – highly recommended”.
While a third wrote: “Can’t believe how good this product is! I keep mine in the fridge and then leave them on for 20 minutes and it gets rid of my dark circles and puffiness, can’t recommend this enough!”
A few shoppers criticised the expensive price tag, with one commenting: “Used this mask for the first time. I don’t normally have sensitive skin but it did sting the skin ever so slightly. Nothing I couldn’t deal with and I kept the masks on. Did help with the puffiness under my eyes and did make the eye area nice and soft and moisturised. I do like this product. Not sure on the price point though.”
After more beauty buys to help with puffy, dry eyes? Our senior shopping writer, Faith, is a fan of L’Oreal’s Revitalift Laser Eye Bag Instant Eraser Eye Cream, £29.99. She says: “The eye cream works by compressing and blurring your under-eye wrinkles, and its unique formula is what makes it work so effectively. It has a “gel-to-tape” technology, which becomes an invisible and lightweight film that tightens and smooths the skin”.
