A recent study suggests that men are seeking to take greater control of their lives this year, with a focus on enhancing their physical and mental health and boosting their overall happiness.
A poll found that six out of ten men frequently feel they’re not realising their full potential, with 34% feeling they’re missing out by not engaging in activities they love because they’re swamped by the pressures of everyday life.
Almost half confessed they often find it hard to distinguish one day from the next, as a result 43% have a desire to create a stronger sense of purpose in their daily routine.
However, they regularly find themselves distracted by activities that don’t add any value to their lives – such as racking up screen time. They also faced other challenges such as financial limitations, lack of motivation and time constraints.

“The culture around us keeps many stuck in their heads, caught in emotions, and disconnected from the present moment,” David commented.

Nine out of ten men are already making strides towards making this goal a reality by spending more time outdoors or having more of a work/life balance. Others are concentrating on maintaining a balanced diet and acquiring a new skill.
