A TikTok user has shared a simple way to check if you’re getting the best deal at TK Maxx by looking at the labels
There’s nothing quite like bagging a good bargain – and a TikToker has shared a simple way to check you’re getting the best deal at TK Maxx. The retailer is known for offering huge deals, particularly when it comes to designer items.
TikTok user Alex Pavlova, who posts as @Beautyforeverybody, shared a video revealing what ‘secret codes’ shoppers should look out for when looking for a good deal at TK Maxx. The clip racked up thousands of views, more than 220k likes and hundreds of comments from excited followers.
In the video, Alex listed the three codes you need to keep an eye out for – one, three and seven. According to Alex, shoppers should check the price label and you’ll be able to tell how good your bargain really is.
If the number one is printed at the top of the label, it means the item had been produced specifically for TK Maxx. While if number two is on the second line from the top, the product is genuine unsold stock from popular brands.
If you spot the number seven, the product has been packed away from a previous year. Alex advised her followers to “always look for two and seven” if they want the best deals.
Alex’s video left many shoppers floored, with hundreds leaving comments. Among them, one person even claimed: “I work in TK Maxx and didn’t know this.”
A second wrote: “NO MOOOOOD!! I work at head office and didn’t know this.” A third shopper added: “Not me running over to everything I have with a TK Maxx label to read the barcode” and another said: “This is so helpful, thanks!!”
Alex’s tip was proven true when a former TK Maxx employee revealed the secret codes shoppers should keep an eye out for to bag a real bargain.
