Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague are co-parenting daughter Bambi together following their split earlier this year, with them both having posted about seeing her on Christmas Day
Boxer Tommy Fury looked a little bit downcast whilst out in the cold weather in photos released this week after having his first Christmas since separating from Molly-Mae Hague.
Tommy and Molly-Mae, both 25, announced that they had split up in August after five years together. They have since been co-parenting their daughter Bambi, almost two, and are both thought to spent time with her on Christmas Day.
Following the special occasion, photos of Tommy leaving a hair salon in Cheshire recently have been released. The former Love Island finalist is seen wearing a grey jumper and a pair of shorts, whilst holding a black coat over his arm, after visiting salon Fade Masters in the village of Hale.
Just days ago, Tommy shared that he was spending time with Bambi. It’s thought that Molly-Mae had spent Christmas morning with her, before Tommy had time with her in the afternoon. He shared content from his time with her, including footage of the toddler opening some presents.
It wasn’t just Tommy who posted about the occasion on Instagram as Molly-Mae shared a series of photos herself. The content creator told her followers that herself and Bambi had a “magical morning” together, as well as saying that Bambi had “put the magic back in Christmas.”
It came after Molly-Mae previously shared that she was struggling in the build-up to Christmas Day. She told fans in a vlog, uploaded to YouTube just days ago, that she had been “feeling really deflated” ahead of the annual occasion.
She said: “I have been feeling quite heavy … like mentally heavy … over the last few days and I’ve been struggling a little bit more than I kind of … I don’t really know why … well, I do know why actually. But like, I just have found the last few days quite challenging mentally. I have been quite down to be honest and I haven’t really felt like picking up my camera.
“Or even if I had felt like picking up my camera it would be like fake happiness and fake giddiness for Christmas, which like I would never like come on and act a way that I’m not feeling. Hence why I’m coming on now and telling you that I have been feeling a little bit low.”
Molly-Mae continued: “It’s so sad when people say that Christmas brings up emotions and for people it can be a really really sad time of the year and I feel like I’ve been so blessed in my life, like I’ve never really felt that way at Christmas, it’s always been a really positive time for me.
“But I feel like this is the first Christmas ever where I’ve been like ‘oh I can really understand what people talk about when they talk about how it really makes you feel’. Like when you’ve got things going on in your personal life it can really bring it all up and make it feel like 10 times worse.”
She also admitted to feeling “guilty” as her family had joined her for the festive period, but Molly-Mae suggested that she was concerned about potentially not being “the best host”. She said: “I just didn’t feel like I could really be present because I had a lot of stuff on my mind and I was just thinking about a lot and feeling quite sad.”
