Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague were spotted sharing a kiss as they welcomed in the New Year together just five months after calling time on their relationship
Following their shock split five months ago, Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury were spotted sharing a New Year’s Eve kiss.
And now, with the couple potentially showcasing a reconciliation, boxer Tommy has made a public show towards the mother of his child. The duo, who met on Love Island in 2019, share daughter Bambi together and have been co-parenting since their split announcement in August.
However, their new year kiss has thrown their relationship status up in the air. And as Molly-Mae shared a snap from the night on her Instagram, it was met by Tommy hitting the like button. The blonde beauty uploaded an image of her wearing a fitted black outfit, captioning the image: “Hi Jan, how are you.” Ex partner Tommy was among the thousands liking the post.
It follows Molly-Mae’s decision to also like Tommy’s own new year post. Opening up on Instagram to bring in the new year, Tommy admitted his daughter has been “keeping him going” through the tough period in his life. Alongside his confession, he shared a sweet image of Bambi sitting on his shoulders. “This little one keeps me going every single day 2024… you were tough and taught me a lot,” he commented. “I’m more than ready to step into a new year and to continue working on myself.” His update was liked by Molly-Mae, who fans thought was extending an olive branch on their fractured relationship.
On New Year’s Eve, the pair went to Man Utd star Luke Shaw’s Hogmanay party in Cheshire. It’s reported they were spotted “flirting all night” before sharing a smooch on the stroke of midnight. “Things are still delicate but they’ve had some long, difficult conversations over the past few weeks and, finally, are in a great place,” a source told The Sun.
They added: “Molly-Mae decided to invite Tommy fairly last minute. It was all very low-key. The pair were very flirty all night and it’s clear their physical attraction remains strong. They were all over each other as the compère counted down to midnight — it was very cute to see.”
In August, they released statements ending their relationship. Molly-Mae told her followers: “I never imagined our story would end, especially this way.” While she didn’t reveal the reason for the end of their relationship, Molly-Mae says that she will be “forever grateful” for their daughter. I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end,” she wrote.
“I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority. I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all.
