Ninja has cut prices across its outdoor kitchen range, with price drops on its electric BBQ and pizza maker just in time for summer
It’s starting to look a lot like BBQ season. With temperatures on the rise across the UK, many Brits may be thinking about dusting off their trusted old BBQ after the long winter months.
But if the old faithful is looking a bit rusty, it might be time for an upgrade. Popular kitchen brand Ninja may be at the front of consumer’s minds when it comes to indoor cooking, but it also offers a range of gadgets for outdoor cooking too.
Alongside its ever-popular air fryers, Ninja has created an outdoor lineup formed of an electric BBQ and artisan pizza ovens, rivalling traditional models and brands like Ooni. Ninja has also cut the price of some models, with discounts nearing £50 and a selection of accessories available with each device.

Here’s a closer look at some of Ninja’s outdoor kitchen gadgets:
Electric BBQ Grill and Smoker – £251 (was £299.99)
The Woodfire Electric BBQ combines the features of a traditional BBQ and an air fryer with seven cooking functions. It’s able to cook favourites like burgers, sausages, ribs and steaks without the need for coal or gas and has an integrated smoker box for an authentic smokey flavour.
The Woodfire Electric BBQ has earned an impressive 4.8-star rating, with one customer saying: “Saves on coals, and you get the taste of a BBQ and it’s so quick.” Another said: “Amazing and easy to use. I love my Ninja woodfire electric burner. So much easier and cleaner to use than a gas or coal BBQ. I love the multi-functions it has and the food tastes great.”
But this user noted a potential downside: “It’s a shame with fatty meat spitting at the lid the fat drips down the back and diverts to the legs making a bit of a mess when used repeatedly.”

Electric Pizza Oven and Air Fryer – £299.99
Ideal for any budding pizzaiolo, this Electric Pizza Oven can cook artisan, thin crust, new york, and pan pizzas in less than three minutes, according to Ninja. It’s large enough for a 12” pizza, comes with a 12” pizza stone and can also be used to air fry, bake and prove.
Ninja customers have awarded this device a near-perfect 4.9-star rating, with one saying: “The Ninja is a game changer. Really like the glass front and the light inside [so] you can check how well it’s cooking and end up taking it just at the right time.”
Another said: “This is fabulous. We tried the artisan pizza recipe in the booklet, and it came out amazing. The air fryer is an added bonus and will make outdoor cooking a pleasant experience.”
But this reviewer pointed out: “The oven is heavy so if you don’t have a permanent spot for it in your garden you’ll be moving it around a lot.”
For those seeking a more traditional woodfire pizza oven, the £299 Ooni Fyra 12 is a pellet-fueled oven that makes up to 12” wood-fired pizzas and is said to be ‘ultra-portable’. This model uses wood pellets to achieve a consistently high heat of 500C, which Ooni says can cook a stone-baked pizza in 60 seconds.
One Ooni user said: “Best thing we have purchased in a long time. Goodbye to takeaways and frozen shop bought pizza.” Another said: “Love our Ooni, makes pizza night a whole family activity and even gets the teenagers involved.”
But it may take some getting used to, as this user said: “First tries have been a little unsuccessful with burned outside and uncooked inside. I appreciate this is probably a user error, but this is going to take some time and patience.”
Electric Oven, Pizza Maker and BBQ Smoker – £329.99 (was £349.99)
For a combination of the previous two gadgets, this versatile Electric Oven, Pizza Maker and BBQ Smoker can handle everything from pizza and chicken to vegetables and beef joints, cooking up to a scorching 370 degrees. It has eight cooking functions and includes an integrated smoker box, pizza stone, and is perfect for entertaining this summer.
Boasting another 4.9-star rating, with one five-star reviewer saying: “We were looking for a pizza oven but got so much more. The pizzas are fab but the best part is using it for the roast joint. The max roast setting is brilliant we now cook all the meat in this oven, it’s so delicious.”
Another said: “Fantastic oven, pizzas in minutes and great for anything else you wish to oven cook whilst you are entertaining outside. Love it, it has been a total game changer.”
Despite saying the device is ‘worth the money’, this review said it’s ‘a bit heavy’ to carry from outside and is ‘not recommended to use inside’. Amazon is offering the Electric Oven for the slightly cheaper price of £313, while a more affordable option is the £159.99 VonHaus Gas Pizza Oven, which can also smoke meat, fish and vegetables.
