The intimate exhibition will only last for a matter of weeks
History enthusiasts and pop-culture aficionados alike will be thrilled to learn that Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition is set to arrive in the UK this year. In just a few months, it will take up residence at London’s Excel Waterfront.
This brand-new, 90-minute digital and physical journey boasts a host of exciting additions to the experience, including an eight-metre-high immersive video mapping room, a seated 360-degree virtual reality experience, an interactive digital “metaverse” room, and much more. The unique selling point of the exhibition is its combination of “cutting-edge technology ” and “rich historical narratives”, while remaining faithful to the rich history of the legendary pharaoh.
Additionally, visitors can enjoy a selection of original ancient Egyptian artefacts dating back as far as 4,000 B.C., which will be on display throughout the experience. These include a funerary shabti from the 20th Dynasty that was part of Howard Carter’s private collection.

But hurry, it won’t be around forever. The London Excel is set to be graced by the Tutankhamun immersive exhibition, launching on March 28 and running a tight 14-week stint until June 29, 2025, before embarking on a “wider European tour”.
You can snag tickets exclusively through Fever starting January 31, 2025, but those eager to secure their spot early can hop onto the waitlist now.
