Vicky had two weddings

Vicky Pattison’s was previously engaged to her ex-partner before calling the wedding and finding lasting love with her now-husband. The former Geordie Shore star is now married to long time partner Ercan Ramadan as they tied the knot in Italy last year.

However, this was not the first time she was planning a wedding as she was previously engaged to John Noble. Vicky has opened up in the past about “hitting rock bottom” after her split from the Newcastle businessman.

Despite going through the difficult time in her life, the Strictly star has said that it led her to being who she is today. Vicky felt that her who life had fallen apart in 2018 when the former couple called things quits.

Speaking to OK!, Vicky said: “The weird thing is, at the end of 2018 I felt my whole life fell apart. It’s really weird feeling like you’re almost at rock bottom it’s almost like you’ve got nowhere else to go so you’re like: ‘You know what, I am done caring what everyone thinks,’ so you’ve got no choice but to rise from the ashes essentially.”

November 2018 saw Vicky call off the wedding to John after finding out he had allegedly cheated on her just months before their special day. Photos were released at the time showing John’s hands on other women in Dubai.

However, John went on to say that the two of them had already called things off before his trip to Dubai. At the time of the break-up, Vicky was left in tears on This Morning as she revealed her ex-fiancé blamed her for their split and claimed he was “set up”.

She said at the time: “He says he didn’t cheat, he hasn’t done anything wrong. He actually said that he was set up and it was sort of my fault cos of the position I’m in.”

Vicky was in the middle of filming at the time which was meant to document the wedding. Instead of sending cameras away, she decided to carry on filming to take the power back.

Vicky went on to meet her now husband Ercan the following year and now the rest is history. He went on to pop the question in 2022 while they were on a romantic holiday in Dubai.

The couple had two weddings in total – one in their native England and one abroad. Firstly they officially tied the knot at London’s Marylebone Town Hall along with 150 family and friends there to celebrate with them.

They then jetted off to Puglia, Italy where they enjoyed the second of their celebrations. The whole event was captured for her two-part E4 series, Vicky Pattison: My Big Fat Geordie Wedding.
