This unique couple spend their days dressing up in cat and dog ears, running around the park playing fetch, and drinking water out of pet bowls. They say they feel like the animals and don’t care what people think

Meet the couple who spend their days running around the park and drinking from pet bowls – because they identify as cat and dog.

Kei and G have been in a relationship since they met online in 2008 when they were teenagers, when they quickly came to realise that they had similar interests. Soon romance blossomed, and the pair have now been together for 16 years, but their relationship has a rather unique set-up.

G identifies as a cat, and Kei identifies as a dog. The pair, who make indie adult content online, play fetch together and even drink water out of pet bowls. They started wearing collars when they first got together and say parents “turn their kids away” when they see them acting like the animals in parks.

Speaking to YouTube’s Truly TV, Kei said: “People judge my relationship because I feel more like a dog and G feels more like a cat.” “People think we live a wild life but it’s just normal to me,” G added.

The adult film makers, who own production company Beyond Deep in the US, shared how they came to realise they were like a cat and dog. G, who grew up with a cat, said: “I feel like I’ve always been a cat from a young age, certain things about me are just very cat like,” G added.

After getting together, the pair discussed their pet identities and decided to embrace this part of them. Kei said: “We just want to be near each other in a very companion way. I will growl or whimper and G can kind of understand what I mean in those moments.”

Speaking about getting stares in the street, or judgement online, Kei said: “We usually just laugh.” “Being judged by others has definitely motivated me to put myself out there more,” Kei added.

However, the pair have sadly been subject to death threats and people messaging them asking if they are ashamed. “People have judged us for just wanting to show something that people think should be private,” Kei added.

G said: “All I am doing is spreading love and I hope that you would do the same. Just try to spread love instead of being hateful.”

Commenting on YouTube’s Truly TV, one individual said: “As long as they don’t push their narratives on me and they aren’t hurting anyone, then leave them to it. They seem happy enough.”

“What ever makes them happy they seem aa loving couple their not hurting anyone,” pointed out another. One other said: “It’s strange, and I don’t get it, but as I see it, they’re not hurting anyone, so leave them be!”
