With Christmas less than a week away, many of those last minute gift getters will be racing around the virtual shelves in the hope of bagging a fab pressie just in time (we’ve all been there). For others, their time shopping for others is done and now is the time to indulge in some retail therapy treats for them.
Whether you fit into the former or latter category, our Weekend Wishlist this week is here to give you some inspiration for any ‘eleventh hour’ pressies for yourself or your loved one, whether that’s a sparkly cardigan from M&S or some Rockett St George towels.
Now, if you’re new here, Weekend Wishlist is a specially curated list of all the things our fashion and beauty team have been swooning over, have bought themselves as a cheeky pre-Christmas treat or something we think you need – be that something spotted on our favourite A-lister, or a newly released and viral product.

And because on the shopping team we like to make your life easier, below we’re sharing just some of the items on our wish-list this festive season – many of which are still available for delivery before the big day (at the time of writing).
M&S Textured Duffle Coat
If you’re looking for a stylish and cosy coat that feels like being wrapped in a blanket, turn your attention to this gorgeous, fleecey-style number from M&S – whose Christmas delivery cut off date is December 23.
Costing £89, the duffle coat is made with a textured finish that is soft on both the outside and inside (so not ideal for rain but perfect on dry, chilly days).
Fastened with traditional toggles to give the coat an old school feel as well as an internal zip, M&S describes the coat as having “a regular fit and a longline shape for plenty of coverage. A high neck and a hood offer added protection against the elements, while the two side pockets are perfect for warming hands and popping your phone.”
Those who have already got their hands on the coat say that it looks way more ‘expensive than it is’ and is ‘really flattering on’. For some the fit was a bit off, with the sizing around the hits being a little narrow. In that case – and to fit a jumper underneath- it may be best to size up.

Oliver Bonas’ Orange Contrast Trim V-Neck Knitted Cardigan
If someone on your Christmas list is getting more into dopamine dressing and embracing their love of bright colours, this cardigan from Oliver Bonas, £60, is a brilliant pressie to help them kickstart their new year with a bright pop of orange.
Available in size 6 to 18 – and with delivery dates pre-Christmas lasting until Sunday 22nd December with Next Day Delivery – the orange cardigan has a gorgeous bright contrasting trim and complimenting tortoiseshell-style buttons. The shape is relatively relaxed making it an ideal option for layering as well as wearing it on its own during your more casual, slouchy days.

Frankie Bridge’s go-to water bottle
It’s no secret that Stanley Cups are a big hit with celebrities like Frankie Bridge and more having a selection at home. And while they’re a viral hit due to their design and pretty packaging, they’re a brilliant way to keep hydrated throughout the day thanks to their massive water volume.
Costing £45, these cups can hold up to 1.2 litres of water and are a great present option for someone who always forgets to drink enough water throughout the day – they’re both practical and aesthetically pleasing. And they can keep water cold for up to 11 hours – even longer with ice. With a variety of colours available from rose quartz to fuschia pink.
If you don’t want to wait for delivery, you can always race to a stockist pre-Christmas and nab yourself one!
Kayali’s Yum Boujee Marshmallow 81
Looking for a fragrance for that special someone this Christmas? If they’re into sweet scents, they are going to love this latest release from Kayali. Costing £79 at Boots – whose Christmas delivery cut off is December 23 – the Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow 81 scent has notes of fluffy pink marshmallow, strawberry, coconut, freesia, vanilla and pink musk. Our own Faith Richardson is a fan of the spritz and said: “Sweet, indulgent and genuinely so nice you could almost eat it (although, please don’t), it’s one of those perfumes that people immediately notice. I’ve had so many compliments since wearing it, and considering how many of my friends have commented on the smell, I already know it will be a winner when it comes to Christmas presents this year.
“The best way to describe it is a combination of strawberry milkshake and vanilla cake, but it somehow manages to avoid being sickly or too youthful smelling. The initial notes are sugary, but it soon dries down to a more sophisticated vanilla-based scent with touches of floral notes and musk which help ground it.”
