Seven months after losing his unbeaten record, Tyson Fury will tonight have the chance to avenge his May defeat y heavyweight rival Oleksandr Usyk
Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk lock horns again tonight, seven months after Fury suffered his first professional defeat.
Fury went into the heavyweights’ first fight as the favourite and was in control of the bout until Usyk turned it on it’s head in the second half. The Ukrainian became the division’s first undisputed champion since Lennox Lewis in 1999 but there will only be three belts on the line tonight in Riyadh.
He will start as the favourite after almost stopping Fury in the ninth round in May but both men have promised to settle their rivalry in conclusive fashion. Whatever the result, Anthony Joshua could be waiting for his fellow Brit as they look to finally settle their long-standing rivalry. Ahead of the rematch, here is everything you need to know about tonight’s fight…
What UK time will Tyson Fury vs Oleksandr Usyk 2 start?
Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk are expected to fight at around 11pm UK time tonight. That will be 2am local time in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The exact fight time could depend on how long the undercard takes to complete with several 12-round bouts taking place earlier in the evening.

Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury – 11pm
Repeat or revenge? That is the question on the boxing world’s lips tonight as Oleksandr Usyk puts his three heavyweight world titles on the line in his rematch with Tyson Fury. There was little between the rivals when they clashed in May but the Ukrainian did enough in the second half of the fight to have his hand raised. He starts tonight’s sequel as the favourite with Fury attempting to prove he is the best of his generation.
Sergei Bohachuk vs Ishmael Davis – 9.30pm
Ishmael Davis is nothing if not game and steps in at short notice for the second time in three months. He did so in September when he accepted a fight against Josh Kelly on the undercard of Anthony Joshua’s KO defeat by Daniel Dubois and has done so again here after Israil Madrimov pulled out of his clash withSergei Bohachuk. The Brit has it all to do – but has nothing to lose against the Ukrainian.
Moses Itauma vs Demsey McKean – 8.30pm
A step up in class for rising heavyweight star Moses Itauma who takes on the once-beaten Aussie Demsey McKean. Itauma has proven himself something of a knockout artist and could in theory beat Mike Tyson’s record and become the youngest heavyweight world champion in history. First he will have to see off the challenge of McKean whose only defeat came against Filip Hrgovic.
Johnny Fisher vs Dave Allen – 7.30pm
Two fan favourites at opposite ends of their careers as Dave Allen attempts to roll back the years and shock rising star Johnny Fisher. Allen has been in the wilderness having failed to fulfil his potential during his best years and will be up against it against Fisher who has brought a small army of fans to Saudi Arabia as he eyes a breakout year in 2025.
Peter McGrail vs Rhys Edwards – 6.30pm
Peter McGrail should be preparing for a mouthwatering clash with Dennis McCann but the latter failed a drugs test for multiple substances just over a week out from the fight. While McCann’s case is investigated, the unbeaten Rhys Edwards stepped in to take on McGrail at short notice. The Welshman was already preparing for a fight next month and will at least prove a stern test.
Isaac Lowe vs Lee McGregor – 5.30pm
A thrilling clash on paper as Tyson Fury’s stablemate Isaac Lowe takes on Scotland’s Lee McGregor who is looking to reassert himself after a mixed run of results. This one should prove to be a clash of styles between pressure-fighter Lowe and the slick McGregor with both men promising to steal the show.
Daniel Lapin vs Dylan Colin – 4.30pm
Daniel Lapin has been a permanent fixture on the undercard of Oleksandr Usyk’s fights in Saudi Arabia and he puts his unbeaten record on the line against fellow unbeaten man Dylan Colin. This feels like a crossroads fight with the loser going back to the drawing board while the winner eyes a world title shot.
Andrii Novytskyi vs Edgar Ramirez – 3.30pm
Andrii Novytskyi will be looking to show the Ukrainian heavyweight scene doesn’t start and end with Oleksandr Usyk as he puts his unbeaten record on the line. With 10 KOs from his 13 professional fights, we can expect fireworks against Edgar Ramirez who has won 10 of 12 but who lacks the power of his rival.
Mohammed Alakel vs Joshua Ocampo – 3pm
Saudi Arabia’s own Mohammed Alakel opens the card in just his second professional outing against the vastly-experienced Joshua Ocampo. The Colombian has won just eight of his 46 fights in the paid ranks and is without a win in two years – and has clearly been brought in to allow Alakel to look good.
Quotes corner
Tyson Fury: “I’ve got nothing to say apart from there’s going to be a whole lot of hurt and pain in this fight, you watch. The talking’s been done. The first fight, I talked, I joked, all my career. This time I’m serious, I’m going to do some damage here on Saturday night. Watch me go to work. I’m going to dish out a whole lot of pain. I can’t wait for Saturday night. Thank you everybody involved. God bless.”
Oleksandr Usyk: “Now we just have the performance. Talks, cameras, lights, kind of show. Everything is going to be taking place Saturday night on the 21st. Don’t be afraid. I will not leave you alone. See you on Saturday.”
