With warm weather on the horizon, we can start thinking about our new season wardrobe and Princess Andre has just shared her go-to Adidas trainers that are perfect for spring

Adidas trainers have been trending over the past few years, mostly the popular gazelles, sambas, and spezials. More recently, the brand completely sold out its long-awaited leopard and cow print trainers.

However, if you’ve been looking for a style that’s a little bit different from the trending ones, Princess Andre has just shared her current go-to’s that are perfect for spring.

The exact pair worn by Princess is the Adidas Originals Campus 00s, £90, in light grey. This style looks similar to the popular gazelles, but the sole is a little chunkier, and as the name suggests, they have more of a noughties feel.

This style with the platform is perfect if you’re on the shorter side and have struggled with gazelles or sambas being too flat. The Campus trainers give you that little bit of extra height.

These trainers, inspired by Tokyo’s hip-hop scene, feature a plush suede upper and a wide, padded ankle collar and tongue. We’re big fans of the light grey suede, as it’s a versatile hue that can be easily paired with most things in your wardrobe. As it’s a light shade, this is also great for transitioning into spring and warmer temperatures.

Princess teamed the 00s trainers with bleach cut-off denim shorts and a grey T-shirt. We love how she incorporated this pair into her laid-back holiday look.

To style them for spring in the UK, we recommend pairing them with a pair of leopard print jeans and a lightweight jacket for a casual, everyday outfit. As the shoes are simple, you can really play about with the rest of your outfit without the risk of going too overboard.

If you’ve not been tempted by this chunky style, we’re big fans of Marks & Spencer’s Leather Stripe Trainers, £49.50, which are similar to Onitsuka Tiger’s trending retro pair. We’re also loving the Gola x Anthropologie Elan Leopard Trainers, £95. A great alternative to Adidas’ sold-out leopard print sambas.
