Actress Lily Collins and Theo James are no strangers when it comes to taking awards home but their latest gong may be a more unexpected one for their collections

Lily Collins and Theo James have beaten off huge names for a personal award.

While the pair are no strangers when it comes to entertaining people and dazzling fans, it appears that their charm has paid off. Currently, White Lotus star Theo, 39, is being tipped as the next James Bond following the departure of Daniel Craig. It was reported that Aaron Taylor-Johnson had initially been offered the role, but this was later disputed.

Meanwhile, Emily In Paris star Lily has been wowing fans after marking her stage debut in the production Barcelona, which is currently playing at the Duke of York Theatre before throwing herself into series five of the Netflix smash. Between both Leo, 39, and Lily, 35, have a string of awards between them including SAG gongs, Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe nomination – there is another that both Brits can add to their impressive collection.

Lily, who was born in Surrey but raised in Los Angeles walked away with the Most Attractive Female Smile from Dentakay’s annual award. Meanwhile, Theo received the award for Most Attractive Male Smile. Each year, the leading dental clinic scour the internet and red carpet events to spot celebs with a striking smile.

Theo had beaten the likes of Idris Elba, Brad Pitt, Jamie Dornan and former President, Barack Obama to the top spot – who were all praised by the judges. In the female category, although they weren’t crowned the winners, Dua Lipa, Janet Jackson, Maisie Williams and Gabrielle Union were all celebrated.

Speaking to the Mirror, Dr Gülay Akay, founder of dental clinic Dentakay said: “A beautiful smile enhances self-confidence, improves social interactions, and creates a lasting positive impression. It can also boost mental well-being, as smiling releases endorphins, reducing stress and promoting happiness.

“Theo James’ smile showcases excellent symmetry, highlighted by slightly elongated front teeth that enhance its aesthetic appeal. For Lily Collins, it’s the balance in her smile, with the visibility, the rounded square shape and alignment of her teeth being perfectly proportioned.”

Discussing the perfect smile, Dr Akay commented: “To have a perfect smile, your lips need to be symmetrical. Both the upper and the lower lip have to be even to balance out the smile. Likewise, the centre of your lips should align with the middle of the face. The curvature of the smile must match the arc of the teeth.” She added that another key feature was not showing gums.

“For the ideal balance and even proportions, your teeth should expose 10mm of length when you smile. Anything more than this will affect the proportions of the smile,” she added. But there is one key feature that shouldn’t be missed. “Another thing that goes into shaping a perfect smile is the fact that your bottom teeth shouldn’t show when you smile. Your upper teeth should be the more prominent and take all the attention.”
