A woman was left in shock when she discovered a King cobra snake – in her toilet.
Horrifying footage – which can be watched above – shows the highly venomous snake with its hood spread wide leering out of the toilet bowl. The un-named woman, from Barmer district in Rajasthan, India, screamed in fear when she walked into her bathroom on Friday, June 28, and found the deadly snake.
Professional snake rescuer Mukesh Mali was called to scene to capture the dangerous reptile. Video shows Mukesh using a specialised hooked tool to lift the snake whilst keeping it at a distance. He can be seen carrying the cobra outside with his hand grasping the tail and the hook keeping the head at a distance.
The King cobra is one of the world’s most venomous snakes and its bite can be fatal to humans. According Mukesh, who has rescued over 7,000 snakes, the current hot and rainy weather has increased the likelihood of snake sightings.
