Cheyanne Kerr recently visited Dubai and decided to sample the viral chocolate that’s being talked about online – although it tasted nice, the price left her stunned

When it comes to topping up your tan, lots of Brits flock to Dubai for the pleasure.

Between its sandy beaches, soaring temperatures and stunning hotels – it’s easy to see why so many people want to visit. But another thing people are travelling for is the country’s sweet treats.

A chocolate bar has gone viral online, with people raving about the confectionary that comprises thick milk chocolate filled with pistachio crème, pistachio nut paste and toasted kunafa. It’s become so popular that it’s selling out daily, and one woman recently managed to get her hands on some. Cheyanne Kerr sampled the chocolate in a recent TikTok video, and she didn’t hold back when it came to the review.

Though she admitted it tasted pretty good, it comes with a hefty price tag. You’d expect luxury if you’re splurging so much on a simple sweet treat. In the video, Cheyanne said: “Apparently you can’t get it anywhere because it sells out within like half-an-hour. There’s this other place that does like a similar one, so we’re going to go there to try just a little basic version of it. It’s not the real thing but we’re still going to go and try it.”

After securing the treat, she added: “We got it, and it were £40 for two, so it best be worth it.” The good news is it seems to have been lovely – her face says it all after she takes a bite. Her eyes glow brightly, and Cheyanne is literally left speechless because it tastes so good.

More than 38,000 people have liked the video since it was shared, and many couldn’t get over how expensive it was. One person thought she had “more money than sense”. Meanwhile, others admitted they’d fallen victim to the expensive treats, with one writing: “We paid £51. Didn’t have a price on them.”

Another added: “£40 for two. Scandalous.” A third also replied: “For £20 it better be good. Even if it’s not good, you know you have to say it’s good to feel good.”

Some people said you can find it online for cheaper. Apparently, finding it at the right price is all about doing research.

One more person added: “It gets sold out in 60 seconds once the online store opens. Managed to get just one bar on a weekday. No luck on weekends.”
