Zara Tindall attended the Magic Millions event with a gold quilted clutch bag from Aspinal of London that currently has £260 off – and it makes a great Valentine’s Day gift
Zara Tindall has kicked off her New Year with a visit to Australia, as she attended the Magic Millions equestrian event alongside husband Mike Tindall. During the event Zara was snapped wearing an ankle length black lace dress with a chic gold clutch bag, and we couldn’t help but notice it would make a gorgeous Valentine’s Day present.
The bag Zara was using was from one of her go-to brands, Aspinal of London, and it’s currently included in the brand’s January sale. Although Zara’s gold version of the Lottie Clutch Bag is now sold out, the metallic green version is still available and down from £525 to 262.50, saving you £263.

Perfect for evenings, events and parties, the Lottie Clutch Bag is the ideal size to fit all your essentials inside, including your keys, wallet and makeup, as well as having an additional slot on the side to fit your phone in. You can also instantly swap from a clutch to a shoulder bag, with a detachable chain strap making it incredibly versatile.

Although Zara’s exact one is currently sold out, if you really had your eye on the gold version you can get a similar design with Aspinal’s Milly Crossbody Bag. Costing £325, the Milly bag comes in champagne gold and has a slightly more rounded, square silhouette.
It is also, however, made from real leather with a similar woven pattern, although the chain handle on the Milly Crossbody Bag is not detachable like it is on the Lottie Clutch Bag. The slightly softer shape is also more versatile for both day and evening wear, making it a great alternative to Zara’s.
Elsewhere, another Royal-approved handbag brand DeMellier has The Paris Clutch, which retails for £435 and comes in a smooth leather with gold hardware details. Although we’re loving the bright gold shade, you can also pick from four other colours and materials, including all-black leather, and cream canvas with a black leather trim.
Also on sale is the Tory Burch Kira Moto Quilt Metallic Chain Wallet, which is down from £440 to £305. Made from real leather, the Kira Moto bag comes in metallic gold and metallic silver, as well as classic shades like taupe, black and tan.
Finally for bargain hunters, the KG Kurt Geiger Brielle Bag is available for £59 at Debenhams, and has a very simple design with a smooth faux leather material, minimalist rectangular shape and chain handle.
