Aldi’s January Baby Event includes a range of Specialbuys sure to delight parents with young children
Aldi is selling a £24.99 pram rocker that could soothe restless babies in minutes. The discount chain launches its January Baby Event on Thursday (Jan 9), offering a wide range of products for parents and families to browse through in stores.
The limited-edition Specialbuys include a Baby Walker for £29.99, a Cable Knit Baby Blanket for £6.99 and a Heat Sensor Bath Mat for £5.99. Other products include a Baby Hooded Towel and Mitt for £3.99, a Baby Safety Gate for £14.99 or a My Real Potty for £17.99.
There’s also a Jitterbug Pram Rocker available for less than £25. “Does your little one wake up a soon as you stop still, this pram rocker is perfect to effortlessly calm your baby,” reads the product description.
In other words, parents can use the pram rocker to help soothe their little ones in a matter of minutes. The pram rocker is BPA free and operates using a USB cable, as per the description.
The NHS suggests going for a walk with your youngster when caring for a crying baby. The Better Health website explains: “Go outside with your baby and walk them in a pram or in a baby sling.
“The rocking motion can be very soothing for a baby. If you can’t go outside try a gentle rocking motion inside. Walk around whilst gently rocking your baby.” But it’s not the only trick you can try.
Alternately, you could try talking calmly to your baby while stroking them gently, humming or singing to your baby, or holding them close for skin-to-skin contact. A warm bath could also be helpful, according to the NHS.
