Footballer Andy Carroll made his relationship with new girlfriend Lou Teasdale Instagram official, while Billi Mucklow spent New Year’s Day with their kids.
In an Instagram post, Andy stood next to Lou as they posed against a backdrop of illuminated stairs. Lou wore black denim jeans and a black top, while Andy opted for black trousers and a black shirt.
He captioned the post: “Happy people happy places.” Lou replied with a simple lovestruck emoji. Andy’s footballer pal Yanis Merdji commented: “All Best for you mate.” Meanwhile, ex Billi celebrated New Year’s Day at home with her kids, sharing a video of them cuddling together while watching the countdown on TV.
Andy and Billi have three daughters: a daughter named Arlo, born in 2015, and twins named Ivy and Mary, born in 2017. Andy is also father to two older children from a previous relationship. The pair reportedly separated in 2022, and their divorce was finalised in 2023.
Billi was a cast member on the reality TV show The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) from 2010 to 2014. While Andy Carroll was not a regular cast member, he did appear on the show during his relationship with Billi. Their relationship was featured in some episodes, showcasing their life together, including their engagement and later family life.
This comes after Andy celebrated his first Christmas with Lou, just months after announcing his separation from wife Billi Mucklow. The 35-year-old footballer, who has been playing with French team Bordeaux, confirmed his divorce from TOWIE star Billi, 36, in September after having spent 11 years together. Weeks later, he went public with new girlfriend Lou, 41, who is a celebrity make-up artist, and their romance is blossoming with them spending time together over Christmas.
Lou has shared a number of photos on her Instagram over the festive period, showing the new couple have been cosying up in recent days, along with the caption: “Merry Christmas baby”. In one image, Andy is wearing a T-shirt with ‘Louise’ emblazoned across it as they pose together on a sofa.
In another photo, Andy has his arms around Lou as they enjoy time at Winter Wonderland in London, while a third pic sees them hand-in-hand as they pose in a mirror at the side of a property. There was plenty of Lou’s friends in the comments, as they love the public display of romance from the pair. One wrote: “We hard launching a man? Go lou gorgeous.” Another added: “Now that’s a HARD LAUNCH, happy for you loulou.”
Meanwhile, Andy just shared photos of him with his children over the Christmas period, as he eschewed the opportunity to share snaps of his girlfriend on his timeline. Andy’s estranged wife Billi also took the chance to post pics of their kids together, as they all wore Christmas pyjamas during the festive period.
