Ishy Khan is one of the experts on BBC’s Antiques Road Trip, but when he’s not on our screens he lives a glamorous life travelling the world and running his own jewellery business

Since its inception in 2010, Antiques Road Trip has captured the hearts of viewers with its unique blend of treasure-hunting and friendly competition. The show features a squad of savvy antiques experts who embark on a journey across the UK to unearth valuable items and aim to score big profits at auction, reports OK!.

This Friday, 11 October, viewers are treated to the expertise of Ishy Khan, a 33 year old antiques dealer and jeweller with over a decade of experience. His latest adventure in Heanor, Derbyshire, finds him alongside renowned expert Natasha Raskin Sharp. Last year marked Ishy’s entry to the show, an event he described as an “incredible experience” via an appreciative Instagram post: “My first road trip with the amazing @izziedot It was an incredible experience working with so many brilliant people and seeing so many interesting things. Thank you to everyone who has watched and sent messages – it means a lot!”

Ishy’s professional life extends beyond TV to his London-based venture, Ishy Antiques. Specialising in both antique and contemporary jewellery, the company prides itself on exceptional customer service and keen attention to detail, curating stunning and unique pieces for clients and fellow tradespeople.

Interested parties can find more information or arrange a visit at Ishy’s London office through their website, which emphasises: “We specialise in fine, antique and vintage jewellery. We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service and attention to detail. We source beautiful and unique jewellery for our clients and other members of the trade. We can be visited at our London office by appointment or in the USA at select trade shows.”

The globe-trotting lifestyle of this dazzling celebrity is catching everyone’s attention, with his social media brimming with glitzy snaps from exotic trips around the world. In 2022, he made quite the splash across America, touching down in hot spots such as Miami, Vegas, Palm Springs, Los Angeles and New York.

But that’s not all – he’s also soaked up the charm of Naples, Budapest, Sicily and Phuket. Based in Surrey, he shares his home with his adorable three year old Bichonaranian pooch Mila, treating Instagram fans to heartwarming posts of the duo – recently quipping, “Another week of buying jewellery with my fluffy side kick.”

His property journey is an inspiration too; he snagged his house back in November 2020, later celebrating online: “I bought my first house! ! Feeling very lucky and thankful today. Buying a house during lockdown hasn’t been the easiest experience but it’s finally all sorted. Apologies to anyone who has had to deal with me over the past few months – I have never been so stressed.”

His gratitude pours out especially for his parents: “Thank you to my parents who let me live at home for all this time and promised the bank they would cover my mortgage if I couldn’t (being self employed is all fun and games until you try to buy a house) Roll on post lockdown housewarmings.”
