There’s a way to get a Hisense 4K Ultra HD smart TV for less than the asking price with this simple method

The January sales are well underway, and we’ve found a way to bag a discount on an already-reduced 4K smart TV. The 50” Hisense 4K UHD smart TV is currently down to £279, which Argos says is its ‘lowest’ price ever.

This is the same price offered by Amazon, but Argos customers can get it cheaper thanks to a deal from TopCashback. The discount site is giving new members a £15 sign-up bonus, as well as cashback on each purchase.

This reduces the Hisense TV even further to £257.03 for new Argos customers or £261.68 for existing Argos customers. Existing TopCashback members can also get in on the action, with the TV reducing to £272.03 for new Argos customers or £276.68 for existing Argos customers.

The Hisense smart TV provides a budget-friendly alternative to big-name brands like Samsung and Sony, delivering 4K Ultra HD picture quality for a fraction of the price. It features Dolby Vision HDR, which can display highlights up to 40 times brighter than a standard picture and can upscale non-4K content so you always get the best image.

TopCashback is giving away a £15 sign-up bonus to new members, plus cashback when shopping with retailers like Amazon, Argos and Ninja.

There’s also a built-in sensor that adjusts the picture depending on the brightness in the room. With the TV, there’s instant access to thousands of films and TV shows on streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video and BBC iPlayer, while gamers can benefit from reduced input lag and enhanced picture quality thanks to the Game Mode PLUS setting.

The Hisense 4K UHD smart TV has achieved an impressive 4.7-star rating after 87 reviews, 82 of which are four or five stars. One satisfied shopper said: “Just perfect. Really pleased with it and for a technophobe very easy to set up. Great picture, clear sound. Good value for money.”

Another said: “The set-up was easy and the TV connected to WiFi without any problems. It requires minimum assembly and what it does need, is really easy to do. No hassle. Loads of pre-loaded apps and you can add more if you need. Image is crisp, the sound is great. This is an amazing TV for the price and the delivery was exactly as agreed.”

A third buyer said: “A Great TV for the price. It’s easy to set up WiFi and I found setting up the various apps for use easy and straightforward. The picture quality is excellent and there are plenty of options on the menu to adjust it to your own preference. The selection of apps is great and Freely via TV aerial is stable with good quality pictures. Perfect picture from the connected PC. This is a great purchase for the price and I would consider purchasing another in the future.”

However, despite their five-star review, the same reviewer added: “The sound isn’t the best as it’s a little tinny but I have connected to my HIFI via Bluetooth which automatically connects every time I switch TV on.”

Alternatively, shoppers can spread the cost of a new smart TV with Sky’s latest Sky Glass sale, which has seen the 4K smart TV reduced to £27 – a saving of £96. This also provides access to more than 100 channels including Sky Atlantic, plus subscriptions to Netflix and Discovery+ at no extra cost.
