The simple spray bottles would be ideal stocking fillers to stash away for December that don’t break the bank this Christmas
B&M shoppers are raving over the store’s latest bargain body mists are being compared to Bath and Body Works. Better still, the discount retailer’s “lovely” sprays cost less than a takeaway coffee.
A customer shared on the Extreme Bargains UK Facebook page a picture of the items side-by-side in their local branch. It showed the ‘Candy Dreams’ and ‘Sugar Frosting’ options from Simple Pleasures, which are both £1.79 each.
The scented body mists come in generous 250ml bottles, which should last shoppers quite a long time. Some have even said the scents could easily rival Next’s Bath and Body Works.
The brand sells dozens of similar-sized products via Next. Most are currently (as of October 18) reduced from £18 to £10.
This includes the company’s Christmas-inspired scents. But even with the offer applied, B&M shoppers could save further if they’re willing to swap.
One shopper said: “These look very bath and body works!” Another added: “I want candy dream for my stocking!”
A third wrote: “Have tried the candy one and it’s lovely. Very light and not overpowering.”
Someone else joked: “I need to smell like snowflakes this Christmas!” A fifth person vowed: “Best believe I’m gonna spray this daily after Halloween!”
B&M has plenty of items that shoppers want to snap up – either as Christmas gifts or simply to treat themselves. One popular product was the £20 Heat & Go milk frother, compared to a similar device sold for £100 by the luxury brand Hotel Chocolat.
However, not every festive find had shoppers feeling joyful. A £5 box of ‘rare’ Australian chocolates could have been a big hit with shoppers looking for something unique to gift this Christmas – but it seemed to divide Brits and Aussies alike who had issues with the choices inside.
