Carly Rae Jepsen has tied the knot with music producer Cole M.G.N. during an intimate ceremony.

Their big day took place earlier this month at the iconic Chelsea Hotel in New York City. The 39-year-old singer – who announced her engagement last September – walked down the aisle on October 4 with just 100 guests at the nuptials, according to Vogue.

The star – who is known for hits such as Call Me Maybe and I Really Like You – tied the knot inside the hotel’s Bard Room, with the wedding being officiated by her aunt and uncle. Some of the guests that were in attendance included singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright.

Speaking to Vogue Carly explained that the “energy was just light and joyful.” She added: “Between the bright baby blue of the background, the wildflowers that surrounded us, and the intimate lighting, walking down the aisle felt like a fever dream.

“Nothing will top the moment when we first locked eyes, and to be honest, for the first half of the ceremony we couldn’t see anyone else.”

Afterwards, the newlyweds and other guests had the chance to unwind during cocktail hour followed by an intimate dinner.

Looking back on their big day Carly said. “It was better than either one of our wildest dreams. We felt connected through the whole thing, which was really important to us. In fact, we even had a few special songs planted in the DJ’s setlist so that, no matter where we were at the moment, when we heard those songs, we would come find each other.”

Carly shared some snaps from her wedding day to Instagram on Friday and penned in the caption: “Husband. That feels good to say. New York City ~Oct. 4th. Favourite day of my life.” Fans rushed to the comments section to share their well wishes.

One fan wrote: “So happy for you and your husband queen thank you for sharing a look into your special day with us”, another wrote: “Absolute perfection!” Celebrities including the official Jedward account wrote: “A real life fairytale love u” and Cole himself even commented: “I love you so much”.
