New mum-of-two Charlotte Crosby revealed she had “alot of angry people in DMs” after she posted a photo of her newborn daughter with a sleep positioner
Reality star Charlotte Crosby has been forced to delete a social media post after she was flooded with angry messages from fans.
The Geordie Shore star, 34, recently welcomed her second child, another baby girl, with her boyfriend Jake Ankers. Charlotte, who is already mum to Alba, two, is soaking up being in the newborn bubble after the arrival of her second tot, Pixi.
And yesterday the star, who was left sobbing after a gang raided her home, shared a photo of her newborn daughter laying in a crib with a baby wedge pillow in on her Instagram story. The reality TV star added a link to the baby wedge sleeping pillow and revealed she used the same device with her holder daughter Alba. Within the post, Charlotte claimed the pillow was “safe” – contrary to safe sleeping advice.
Charlotte, who’s daughter was in a terrifying health scare days after her birth, later deleted the post and shared her reasonings by removing the share. Writing in white text on a blank black background, Charlotte said: “Sorry guys had to delete that. ALOT OF ANGRY PPL IN MY DMS.”
She added: “I had no problems and no worries with that product. Used with Alba and Pixi. But you know how sensitive ppl get. Normal service to resume…. Hopefully this next post is offend anyone” followed by the eyes emoji.
The Lullaby Trust, a charity dedicated to safe baby sleep, does not recommend wedges and sleep positioners as “evidence shows that the safest way for a baby to sleep is on a firm flat mattress, in a clear cot free of pillows, toys, bumpers and sleep positioners”.
Charlotte then resumed to posting about her favourite baby products as she shared a photo of a pile of baby clothes and penned: “Ok hopefully this one isn’t going to p**s the mam police off! LMAO. My fave brand have brought out a BRAND NEW collection called the adorables!
“And they have TONS and I mean TONS of matching sibling stuff! Little girls, little boys and EVE! Boys and girls like unisex matching stuff! Honestly this is just a snippet of what I got! I WENT WILD for summer stuff for the girls! It’s safe to say I’m so excited to see them in matching things! I’ll link the collection ITS INCREIDBLE and price wise SOOOO CHEAP”.
Charlotte welcomed her newborn daughter last month, where the let the cameras in during her C-section birth. Speaking of plans to share her labour with the world, Charlotte told the Mirror: “The cameras will be there for the birth, just like with Alba.
“It was actually really fun last time. We had a playlist.”
Later, Charlotte’s father announced she had given birth before the star shared the news herself. Charlotte’s dad Gary shared a gushing post about how proud he was of his only daughter as he said: “What a full filled weekend done in that their London. A new addition to our little family and some very exciting years ahead. Feeling very blessed and happy.”
