Ahead of the blockbuster all-British showdown between the long-time rivals, results from All Out Fighting’s poll show that one man will convincingly emerge victorious
Boxing fans believe there will be a clear winner in tonight’s blockbuster showdown between Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn.
The pair will go head-to-head at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London in what promises to be one of the biggest fights of the year. Over 65,000 fans are expected to be in attendance for the event – with millions set to tune in around the world.
Since the fight was announced, both men have traded verbal jabs on multiple occasions. Eubank Jr sparked chaotic scenes at the launch press conference in Manchester back in February after slapping Benn in the face with an egg – which ultimately led to their subsequent face-off being cancelled.
In what promises to be a huge night of action, many stars within the combat sports community have been left torn when picking a clear winner. However, that’s not the case with the fans. In a poll conducted by All Out Fighting ahead of the event, Eubank Jr has been backed to topple his long-time rival on fight night.

As per the results of the poll, 55 per cent are backing ‘Next Gen’ to get the job done on fight night, while 41 per cent are confident Benn will get his hand raised. Therefore, this means that four per cent are on the fence and have instead tipped the fight to go down as a draw.
Ahead of the clash, ‘The Destroyer’ revealed he demanded a small ring for the fight – which suggests he’s looking for a stoppage. In an interview with iFL TV, when asked whether he’ll knock Eubank Jr ‘in the middle of the ring,’ Benn said: “The only thing I’ve asked for in contractually… not my name first, not home corner, not ring walk second… all I’ve asked for is an 18 foot ring.”
In a separate chat with Sky Sports, ‘The Destroyer’ opened up on his gameplan, saying: “Coming in there to steamroll him? Of course I am. You think I’m coming in there to muck about? That’s just how I am. If you think you’re faster than me, prove it. You think you’re stronger than me, prove it. You think you’re smarter than me, prove it,” he added. “Come meet me in the middle.”
As for Eubank Jr, the Brit has insisted a defeat against his bitter rival would ‘ruin’ him and that he’ll call it a day should he fail to get the job done in north London. In a pre-fight documentary uploaded to Boxxer’s official YouTube channel, he said: “Everything is riding on this fight. This is the biggest fight of my career. The most amount of money, the most amount of pressure, the most amount of everything.
“Everything is riding on this. A loss… it would finish me, it would ruin me mentally, emotionally, spiritually. A defeat would be devastating because not only the beef between me and Conor real, and something I wouldn’t be able to stand the defeat of on a personal level. I have to uphold my father’s legacy. Letting him down would probably hurt even more.”
