With the weather not getting any warmer, this could be perfect to snuggle up underneath and enjoy a Netflix binge
Debenhams shoppers can save almost £100 on a luxurious heated blanket that’s a perfect option to avoid turning the heating on as we brave the end of winter. But, shoppers have been urged to act quickly as the deal isn’t going to last forever.
The Slumberdown Elegantly Warm Luxury Electric Blanket Heated Throw was originally priced at £140 but is now reduced as part of the ongoing January sale at Debenhams. Shoppers can snap up the heated throw at an almost 70% discount for £44.99.
It comes in three colour options (dark charcoal, mole brown or pale pistachio green), meaning you can easily find one that suits your style. All options are priced the same as well, meaning you don’t have to settle for something that isn’t your aesthetic.

The super soft blanket is made with a faux mink fleece, designed to help take the chill away whenever you need it whilst you’re relaxing at home. Online, the description reads: “Whether you’re watching TV on the sofa, curled up to read a book, or even chilly whilst working at your desk, choose this premium heated throw for a low-cost option to heat yourself rather than your whole home, day or night.”
The product boasts 10 different temperature levels, meaning you can find your perfect setting each time. It also has hourly timer settings so you can have less on your mind as you sink into its warm and cosy embrace.
The throw also features a detachable controller so you can toss the blanket over your couch like a standard blanket without having wires on display. It also means you can keep your winter warmer clean easily by running it through the washing machine.
Shoppers shared their thoughts on the now heavily discounted blanket that’s over five feet wide. One said: “Very fluffy and warm. Good length cable. Good range of temperatures and size.”
Another added: “I bought this in the sale and rate it highly for value and quality. It’s large enough for two and cosy, too. The heat settings are easy to control.”
A third claimed: “Exceptionally warm when the maximum temperature is met. It’s lovely, has a soft texture and is not heavy either. Love the colours too.”
Someone else wrote: “The best thing for keeping you warm. Although works best with another blanket on top to keep the heat in, especially if you have really cold rooms.”
But, not everyone was thrilled with their purchase. A shopper claimed: “Unfortunately I found that the throw was not very warm even on full – it looked beautiful, just not effective. I’m not sure if mine was faulty, but I sent it back and bought another brand, which was 100% better.”
Someone else warned: “This product looks nice, but you can feel all the wires, and it’s barely warm even on the highest setting.”
There are plenty of similar heated blankets available elsewhere if you’re looking for an alternative. At Dunelm, the homeware store is selling a Fleece Electric Throw for £32 that is the exact same size as the Debenhams option.
Or, you could order one to your door from Amazon. There are plenty to choose from, including the top-rated PROALLER Heated Blanket Electric Throw which costs £39.99 with free delivery.
