Demi Lovato responded to a fan who expressed concern over her ‘shaky hands’ during a ‘Cooking with Demi’ video on Tuesday, but the singer reassured them she was ‘okay’
Demi Lovato has reassured a fan who expressed concern over her shaky hands during a Cooking with Demi video on Tuesday.
The 32 year old pop sensation candidly admitted she was ‘nervous’ about preparing a whole roasted chicken in the TikTok clip, saying: “It seems really overwhelming, but it’s not. We’re gonna have fun, and I’m telling myself this because I feel overwhelmed.”
A TikTok user commented on Demi’s post, expressing fear over her shaking hands, to which Lovato responded: “I’m okay! I promise,” accompanied by a black heart emoji. The two-time Grammy nominee, who boasts a whopping 261.9M social media followers, added in the caption: “It wasn’t nearly as overwhelming as I thought it would be and I’m really proud to have this recipe in my back pocket now.”
Many fans seem to forget that Demi is lucky to be alive after suffering a near-fatal heroin and fentanyl overdose inside her $8.3M Hollywood Hills mansion back in July 2018.
Lovato is now “legally blind with hearing loss and brain damage” after suffering “three strokes and a heart attack.” On March 28, the Child Star co-director will celebrate the 34th birthday of her backup vocalist-turned-fiancé Jordan ‘Jutes’ Lutes, whom she got engaged to back in December 2023.
Demi originally met the Canadian musician in January 2022 while recording her eighth studio album Holy Fvck and they even got matching tattoos of their track – 4 Ever 4 Me – which she wrote especially about him. Lovato ‘cannot wait to marry’ Jutes but their long-delayed wedding will have.
Fans will have to wait a bit longer as he embarks on his 12-date Sleephead Tour, starting on March 30 at the House of Blues in San Diego, CA. The Vertigo star is set to become the second fiancé of the You’ll Be OK, Kid singer, following her split from four-time Daytime Emmy nominee Max Ehrich in 2020 after six months together.
Demi, whose upcoming album won’t be rock, is gearing up for her first dramatic acting role in Stephanie Laing’s forthcoming drama Tow, which completed filming last spring. Rose Byrne takes the lead in the film as homeless Seattle woman Amanda Ogle, who fights a $21,634 tow bill, alongside co-stars Dominic Sessa, Ariana DeBose, Octavia Spencer, and Simon Rex.
Lovato first shot to fame at the tender age of 10 in 2002 when she played Angela in seasons seven and eight of PBS’ Barney & Friends.
