Cordless vacuums and air purifying heaters are included in Dyson’s surprise Autumn Event Sale – we’ve rounded up the discounts so you don’t have to
There’s officially less than a month to go until Black Friday 2024, the highly anticipated November 29 date will see prices cut across all areas of shopping, including tech. As anticipation soars with consumers, some brands are starting to launch early sales, including Dyson in its Autumn Event Sale.
The brand, known for its cordless vacuum, AirWrap hair styling technology, and air purifying home goods has cut hundreds of pounds of some of its most popular products. All before the Black Friday month even starts.
It’s not known how long Dyson will be running its Autumn Event but it is a chance for shoppers to beat the expected lengthy online queues at the end of November. Stating the deals will help “create a healthy home this Autumn” the price drops are featured on its dust-busting products including the V8 Absolute, V11 Advanced, and V15 Detect cordless vacuums.

At the top of our sale-picked list is the Dyson V8 Absolute usually £399.99 this cordless model is now reduced to £249.99 in the sale. While the V15 Detect Clean model matches with the same £150 discount the higher-tech model will still set shoppers back £549.99 in the sale.
The V8 model can run for 40 minutes with fade-free suction power’ and traps 99.99% of microscopic particles. The more advanced V15 Detect Clean lives up to its namesake with an added dust sensor and LED screen to keep a count of what’s been removed from users’ carpets, upholstery and floors.
Going into more detail this is called the Piezo sensor which intelligently adapts suction power when more dust is identified, the snazzy LED screen then shows cleaners the stats of exactly how much has been lifted. So yes, it lives up to its ‘Detect Clean’ name.
Calling it a “superhero” product one shopper said: “The brush is the perfect size and suitable to do the stairs. We have three different kinds of flooring such as carpet, lino & laminate floor. Dyson is Super hero and is doing its job with the honor.
“It’s not only just tool in our family – it is like a pet/toy everyone wants to get and use it. Dyson is a such brilliant invention, which makes vacuuming easier and should be in every home.” Another shopper raved about the V15 Detect Clean model too, as they said: “Bought the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute about three weeks ago. Wish I had one of these earlier.”
However, at more than £500 (even in the sale) our only gripe as a shopping team would be the high price, there are definitely alternative cordless vacuums around – like this Bosch model at Amazon – for a much cheaper price. Saying that though, none will include the same detect intelligence fittited in the Dyson V15 model.
