How to secure tickets for Glastonbury 2025

Glastonbury has announced tickets will be on sale on Thursday, November 14 at 6pm GMT. This is the date for coach and ticket packages, with standard tickets available from November 17 at 9am GMT. To be eligible, you’ll need to register in advance on their official website, which includes uploading a recent photograph of yourself.

If you’re fortunate enough to snag a ticket during the sale, you’ll be required to put down a deposit of £75 to reserve your spot. The remaining balance is due at the beginning of April. Any tickets that aren’t fully paid for are returned to the pool and sold during a resale later in the month. Glastonbury’s registration system is designed to prevent ticket resales.

Security checks are conducted to ensure that only the person whose photo is printed on the ticket can gain entry to the festival. However, securing tickets is never a sure thing given the high demand. Millions register for a chance to attend, but only around 200,000 lucky individuals will get to go.

How much will Glastonbury 2025 cost?

The official information section states: “You can book up to 6 tickets per transaction by paying a deposit of £75 per person when tickets go on sale (plus the coach fare, if you are booking a ticket + coach travel option). The remaining balance will then be payable in the first week of April 2025 (from 09:00 BST Tuesday 1st April – 23:59 BST Monday 7th April) when it should be possible to add car parking passes and cancellation protection to your booking.”

Chatting with The Sun, Eavis let slip: “The festival before a fallow year is always a fun one to plan because you almost have to fit two years into one. We’re already in talks with some acts for it. It’s exciting! “.
