The brand new range of suitcases are sure to make you the ‘envy of the airport’ – and are a budget-friendly option for travellers

Home Bargains has launched a new range of ‘super stylish’ suitcases that the budget retailer claims will make you the ‘envy of the airport’. If you’re planning a holiday or looking to upgrade your travel essentials, Home Bargains could be just the place to look.

If you’re also trying to keep your spending in check, these cases cost £50 or less, depending on the size you choose—a significantly lower price than similar options elsewhere. The store’s Salisburys Hard Shell Stockholm Suitcase features a ‘chic’ cream and tan design.

The smallest option (H56 x W35 x 21.5cm) weighs 2.6kg and costs £29.99. A medium-sized one (H67 x W46 x D26cm) is priced at £39.99 and weighs 3.7kg. The large version (H76 x W52 x D29cm) costs £49.99 and weighs 4.8kg.

Taking a quick look elsewhere, you’ll find two similar-looking cases at other retailers for more. Dunelm’s small Palermo Cream and Tan Hard Shell Suitcase costs £40, while Debenhams’ small cream and beige Eagles Hardshell Cabin Suitcase is priced at £50.

So, by choosing Home Bargains, you could achieve an ‘expensive’ look for less. Plus, you can buy all three sizes on Home Bargains’ website for a total of £119.97, reports Bristol Live. If you spend £100 on Saver Eligible items, you can get home delivery.

Home Bargains describes the new suitcases as “your ultimate travel companion.” It adds: “Salisburys presents its broadest line-up of tried and tested luggage solutions with contemporary features to help the modern tourist navigate the hurdles of the twenty first century travel.”

According to the retailer, this suitcase is perfect for making travel a breeze, thanks to its lightweight and durable design, multiple zipped compartments, and 360-degree spinner wheels. Other notable features include:

  • Push button drag handle
  • TSA Combination Lock
  • Fully lined interior
  • Strong and durable
  • Address tag

Home Bargains showcased the suitcases on its Instagram account, saying: “We absolutely adore our new Salisbury’s suitcase range. Guaranteed luggage envy as you roll these through the airport.” One follower commented: “Neeeeeeed.” Another said: “Super stylish.” A third added: “Ooooh love these.”

The smallest suitcase is suitable for several major UK airlines. These include the likes of British Airways, Easyjet, and Jet2, which have size restrictions of 56x40x23cm, 56x45x25cm, and 56x45x25cm respectively.

In addition to the Stockholm design, there are two more colours and patterns to choose from: the London Salisburys Hard Shell Suitcase in silver with a vertical ridged pattern, and the Lisbon version in sage green with horizontal lines.

Elsewhere at Home Bargains, customers have been wowed again, but this time with its latest canvas, which could be easily mistaken for an expensive, highly sought-after painting. As part of its newest winter homeware collection, shoppers can grab a ‘beautiful’ £12.99 artwork. The canvas has attracted plenty of attention due to its similarities to a £970 Studio McGee painting.
