WARNING – DISTRESSING CONTENT: Duncan Allen, from Oregon, was preparing to mix his decks at the Casa Diablo Vegan Strip Club in Portland when he was stabbed in the back by Peyton Lathan, a 29-year-old erotic dancer
Shocking CCTV footage shows the moment a stripper “possessed by a demon” stabs a DJ multiple times at a “vegan club” in an unprovoked attack.
Duncan Allen, from Oregon, was preparing to mix his decks at the Casa Diablo Vegan Strip Club in Portland when he was stabbed in the back by Peyton Lathan, a 29-year-old erotic dancer. The shocking incident was captured on CCTV as it shows the dancer, who has worked at the venue for over a decade, waiting to launch her attack on the DJ.
Lathan, who was described as being “possessed by a demon” during the attack, is seen making several blows to Allen’s back, allegedly stabbing him multiple times. The stunned DJ attempted to run away from his co-worker, and headed to the bar area for help.
“I was on my computer getting some songs ready and next thing I knew I felt like a 500-pound man punch me in the back as hard as humanly possible,” Allen told KPTV.
“So I turned around expecting there to be a huge dude about to fight me and it was her [the erotic dancer] and she was standing there holding a knife. I still didn’t know I was stabbed at that point. Then I took a breath in and realised my left lung had collapsed,” he said.
Fortuantely, the DJ’s injuries were not life-threatening as the horrific incident could have been fatal. “She could’ve cracked my ribs. She could have stabbed me in the kidney. She could have stabbed me in the neck. She could have stabbed me in the spine,” Allen said.
“If I have to be honest with you, I think she should get charged the highest because the fact is this was premeditated.” Lathan was arrested on two charges of assault and a charge for unlawful possession of a weapon. The suspect was found hiding in some bushes next to the road while police were helping to guide Allen’s ambulance to hospital.
Owner of the club, Johnny Diablo Zukle, described the stripper as being “possessed by a demon” at the time of the attack. “She was always a little off, but she never exhibited signs of violent tendencies,” Zukle said. “She definitely had a mental health crisis. I think she had intended to kill someone, and it just happened to be Duncan, and when I think about it when she was in the dressing room for about 10 minutes, she seemed like she was possessed by a demon.”
The DJ admitted he’s thankful to still be alive and is unsure if he will return to the club. “I need to get out of the hospital,” Allen said to The Oregonian. “My feet need to touch the grass and I need to stare into the sky for about 30 minutes and just close my eyes and hold my dog and just kind of just be thankful that I’m alive.”
