Terrifier 3 is now the number one film in the US, while UK audiences have been walking out and vomiting at screenings of the gory horror

Terrifier 3 has become one of the most-talked-about films of the year, as the gory horror has led to cinema walk-outs and vomiting viewers. Now film fans can watch the previous films in the series absolutely free.

The Terrifier franchise centres around a demonic clown named Art, who wreaks murderous havoc in a fictional US town on Halloween night. The sadistic series began with the first instalment in 2016, with a sequel released in 2022.

Terrifier 3 debuted in cinemas earlier this month and has become a huge commercial success. The low-budget slasher defied all expectations to become the number one film in the US, largely due to word of mouth and social media.

The threequel topped the US box office, where it knocked struggling sequel Joker: Folie à Deux off the number one spot. Director Damien Leone took to Instagram to hail the ‘monumental achievement’, writing: “Truly a monumental achievement for us, especially considering we’re an indie, unrated film that was always deemed too niche or too violent for mainstream audiences.”

Terrifier 3 is so grisly that numerous audience members have reportedly walked out of cinema screenings, with the bloody violence causing some to vomit. The film held its UK premiere earlier this month, with the film’s distributor, Signature Entertainment, reporting via X that venue staff counted ‘11 people walking out and one person vomiting’.

In the UK, Terrifier 3 is currently third in the box office – behind Transformers One and Joker 2 – marking Signature’s largest-ever opening weekend in the country, according to Variety. A fourth film is already in the works and is intended to wrap up the franchise.

So if you’re curious to see just how grim the slasher series really is, here’s how you can watch the Terrifier films for free.
