A woman snagged a Too Good To Go bag from her local chippy, and she said it was “better than Christmas”.
Sash, known as @sash34258 on TikTok, said her haul was so impressive she had to rate it a 10/10, as she couldn’t believe how much she got for her money. In the clip, she said she spent £4 on the box of goodies, and it left her more than impressed.
For starters, she was handed some curry sauce and quite a hefty portion of chips. But it was what came next that really blew her mind. Inside the box were two battered sausages, a sausage, a fish and a fishcake. Sash said opening it up was literally “better than Christmas”.
She added: “All of this for £4. Sausages, chippies and curry. Oh my gosh, that’s so cool.” The video has since stunned viewers, racking up over 100 likes. It just goes to show how much you can bag on a budget when you look around for the best deals.
One person said: “Omg I’m jealous.” Another added: “How did you not know that was a fishcake before seeing inside?” Sash said it isn’t something she’d typically order, so she didn’t recognise what it was at first. She also noted Too Good To Go bags can be “luck of the draw”, but she came up trumps with this particular purchase.
Considering chippy teas don’t come cheap nowadays, what she managed to bag for a few quid was really impressive. She will have needed a big appetite to finish it all off.
