Step inside new Dancing on Ice star Ferne McCann’s stunning Essex home, including stunning bar, ‘man cave’ and grand open-plan living and dining area…

Ferne McCann gives OK! an exclusive look inside her charming family home

As we get cosy for our exclusive family photoshoot and chat, it’s obvious that former TOWIE sensation Ferne McCann is in her element amidst the comforts of her own home. “Home really is where my heart is – it fills my cup to be here and to host my friends and family, I just love it,” gushes Ferne, who lives with her beau Lorri Haines and her kids; seven year old Sunday, and little Finty, who’s 17 months old.

“I love having trinkets and memories around the house, everything has a meaning. But Lorri is the opposite, he’s a complete minimalist! So you’ll see our kitchen looks really clear but then there are little corners of the house with all of my little bits, which I love,” she reveals. Despite her affection for their current residence, Ferne acknowledges, “This isn’t our forever home, but it is our ‘for-now’ home. It’s perfect for now, but we don’t see ourselves staying here.” Let’s sneak a peek inside….

Kitchen

It’s clear to see Ferne is at her happiest when at her Essex home and the kitchen, the former TOWIE star tells us is where the magic happens. She loves the open plan layout as it feels like the centre of her home. Ferne loves to cook for family and friends. In fact, she says food is her love language.

Ferne explained: “We love hosting people, cooking is one of my favourite things to do. I am also looking forward to making more quality time with Lorri this year, life was so busy last year having a new baby, juggling parenting, work – and romance.”

Living area

With such an open-plan living area, Ferne wanted somewhere to store all her important trinkets – and her media wall does exactly that. It displays her favourite items that she’s collected over the years. And, when it comes to family time, the star revealed there’s been “lots of happy times on the sofa”. In fact, Ferne loves nothing more than chilling and watching a movie with the kids.

Dining room

With such a grand kitchen to whip up amazing dishes, a dining table had to be on the cards. As well as sitting around the table to enjoy meals as a family and talk about their day, this area doubles up as Ferne’s office space whenever she needs to edit content. This room also holds Ferne’s fave item in house – a concave pink mirror that was inspired by a piece of art she once saw in a Miami hotel room.

Bedroom

Moving onto Sunday’s bedroom, it is a haven of pink, super-girly and filled with all of her favourite things. From stuffed animals and cosy pillows, it is the ultimate girls’ bedroom!

Man cave

Ferne’s fiancé Lorri’s man cave is filled with lots of “tech-stuff”, as the star hilariously called it. And, while she’s happy to share her stunning abode with Lorri and her children; Sunday, seven, and 17-month-old Finty to fans, she does note it’s not their “forever home”.
