Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has admitted he has embarked upon a healthy eating plan after having a dream that sparked his desire to cut sugar from his diet

Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has admitted he is on a mission to become a healthier version of himself after dropping nearly a stone in weight.

The farmer has confessed that Jeremy Clarkson isn’t the only person around Diddy Squat Farm striving to have a lifestyle makeover – but unlike Jeremy he hasn’t been motivated by his health. Kaleb, 26, has instead claimed a dream is responsible for the changes he is making.

Talking ahead of the launch of his new book It’s A Farming Thing he said: “I’m on a no-sugar thing, and it’s all because I had this dream. I did and didn’t understand the dream, but I knew I had to quit sugar. I went to tell Taya [his partner] and she thought I wouldn’t do it.”

Kaleb continued to The Sun: “I’m four weeks in now, and I’ve lost six kilos, which is pretty good. I do have the odd cheat day, but only sugars that naturally occur.”

Kaleb also confirmed that he was with boss Jeremy when he suffered his recent health scare which led to him undergoing an emergency heart procedure as he provided an update on the TV presenter’s condition.

He said: “I’m at the farm every day, or we’ll text every day or I’ll go in for a cup of tea every day. He’s doing all right, he’s doing good. I was there with him when it happened and all I can say is he’s definitely a fighter, he’s a strong man. He went in, he had the procedure and he’s doing really good.”

Kaleb, from nearby Chipping Norton, shot to fame as a young farm worker who was then promoted to farming manager in the hit Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm in 2021.

Kaleb confessed that while audiences love seeing him and Jeremy argue on Clarkson’s Farm the bulk of their rows don’t make it onto the show. He said he believes “they probably only show 40 per cent of the arguments that we actually have.”

But he admitted that while they do bicker “the main thing is that if we have an argument, ten minutes later we’re best friends again,” adding that they’ll “be like, ‘Do you want a cup of tea? Do you want to go to the pub? Do you want to go for a meal?’”

He concluded: “And that’s what makes a good relationship, I believe.” Kaleb is now preparing to tie the knot with his partner Taya with whom he shares two small children, son Oscar who they welcomed in 2021, and daughter Willa Grace who was born in 2023.
