It may have been 15 years since Katie Price and Peter Andre ended their five year marriage but the model has claimed Peter was jealous of her following their split
Media personality Katie Price has claimed her ex-husband Peter Andre was once “jealous” of her, 15 years after their divorce was finalised.
Katie, 46, who shares two children with the Mysterious Girl singer, also revealed that she has always been painted out to be the bad guy in the press unlike Peter – and only communicates with the singer through a third party. The couple first met while on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2004, but called time on their romance five years later.
A the time of their split, the Only Fans star was accused of being unfaithful, a claim she has always denied. During an interview on The Louis Theroux Podcast, she said it was Peter’s “lucky day” when he met her on the ITV reality TV show. She explained: “I was already established. He’d met me and it was his lucky day. So we always had separate contracts. There’s no way I’m splitting half and half, no thanks.”
When asked how they communicate with each other since their split, she added: “Don’t speak to him.” Probing her further, Louis then asked her for a reason, to which she replied: “Just don’t. It’s all through legals. He was quite jealous of me working.” Despite her claims of being painted out to be the bad guy in relation to their split, Katie maintains that her children Junior and Princess are aware of the truth.
She recently told the Daily Mail: “They know the truth, and that’s the thing. They know that their dad is never written about in a bad way.” She added: “They know I’m always written about in a bad way. Their dad’s always the good, I’m always the bad, but they know the truth about everything.”
Asked if she thought Peter’s core circle also thought of her as the bad guy, she responded: “I don’t think they really care what happens to me if I’m honest.” When Katie revealed her latest facelift following her trip to Turkey recently, many commented on how unrecognisable she looked. But it seems the passport machines at airports also struggle to identify her.
Speaking on the I’m ADHD! No You’re Not podcast she admitted: “I don’t know what I look like, even the passport machine don’t recognise me at the minute. If I look, do you know what, when they put the passport it was done so many years ago.” She added: “I’ve had about two facelift things since then and I don’t even look like it. And so now, travelling to Turkey, you’ve got all these machines now that you have to and I’m terrible with technology. But I’m the one pushing the buttons but I blame the machine it’s not doing what I want it to.”
