Time is ticking to save hundreds on Sky, Virgin and EE’s TV and broadband plans

As we enter the final week of January, many brands are preparing to end their new year sales. But before the deals wrap up for another year, there’s still time to save yourself hundreds of pounds if you upgrade your TV and broadband packages with Sky, Virgin Media and EE’s latest offers.

Sky has cut its Sky Glass TV and Netflix bundle to 90p per day – a £96 saving and even lower than in the Black Friday sale. It’s also offering the newly-revamped Essential TV and 150Mbps broadband plan at its lowest-ever price of £35.

There are also huge savings on offer from Virgin Media, with its TV and broadband bundles starting at £33 per month for the Bigger Combo bundle with 362Mbps and more than 200 TV channels. There’s also the option to increase broadband speed to more than 1,000Mbps and catch the latest action on Sky Sports and Sky Cinema with the Biggest combo bundle.

EE’s Winter Sale ended on January 23, but the provider has replaced it with some equally eye-catching deals. Among them is a £240 saving on the packed Big Sport TV plan when paired with 150Mbps fibre broadband.

So, read on for our favourite deals from Sky, Virgin and EE before they’re gone.

Sky

Sky’s January sale is coming to an end on January 29, so time is truly ticking. Among our favourites is the latest Sky Glass offer, which has seen the 4K smart TV with Sky channels built in reduced by £96 to £27 per month.

This is equal to 90p per day over 30 days and cheaper than Black Friday for the swanky smart TV, plus access to more than 100 channels, Netflix and Discovery+ as standard. But if you’re happy with your current TV setup, Sky’s new Essential TV, Netflix and Full Fibre 150 broadband plan is down to its cheapest-ever price of £35 per month – down £5 for a total £120 saving over the life of the plan.

With this, there’s instant access to more than 100 TV channels including Sky Atlantic – home to shows like The Day of the Jackal and The Last of Us – plus Netflix and Discovery+, all without a satellite dish thanks to Sky Stream. Like many providers, it’s worth noting Sky does state its prices may change during this 24-month contract.

Virgin Media

Virgin is giving shoppers slightly longer to snap up its deals, with its Winter sale ending on February 5. Some of its prices have increased slightly since the sale kicked off though, so don’t hang around to bag a bargain.

Virgin is offering several mix-and-match deals with its Bigger Combo and Biggest Combo bundles, with shoppers able to choose from broadband speeds up to a whopping 1,130Mbps, with options for Sky Sports and Sky Cinema. If you’re not a big sports or movie person you may want to opt for the £33 Bigger Combo bundle with M350 Fibre Broadband and more than 200+ TV channels.

Keep in mind though that despite offering a handful of Sky channels like Sky Showcase and Sky Max, Virgin’s plans don’t include Sky Atlantic. It’s also worth checking out the Biggest Combo bundle – while £73 per month is nowhere near the cheapest plan available, you certainly get a lot for your money, with ultra-fast 1,130Mbps fibre broadband, more than 210 TV channels including Sky Sports and Sky Cinema, plus a Netflix subscription.

EE

Although EE’s Winter sale has been and gone, the BT-owned brand is still offering hundreds of pounds off its TV and broadband plans. All of its TV plans come with Full Fibre 150 broadband as standard for £29.99 per month, but shoppers can upgrade their speeds up to a mega 1.6Gbps with the Made 4 Gamers option.

EE’s entry-level TV plan is the Entertainment bundle, now £17 – down from £20 – and offering Sky channels like Sky Atlantic with subscriptions to Netflix and Discovery+. EE customers can also claim six months of Apple TV+ at no extra cost with any of its TV plans.

But for a plan that includes everything, you’d want to go for the Full Works plan for the biggest Sky channels, plus Sky Sports and Sky Cinema, alongside TNT Sports, Eurosport 1 and 2, Netflix and Discovery+. All of this TV, sport and film comes to £60 when paired with Full Fibre 150, an £18 discount and an eye-watering £432 saving over the 24-month contract.

EE has confirmed its prices will rise on March 31, with prices this year set to increase by £3 for broadband and £2 for TV.
