Molly-Mae Hague dropped a new vlog last night where she shared she is “in such a good place” after a year of “ups and downs,” including cheating scandals, a break up, single motherhood, a documentary and reuniting with Tommy Fury.

Ex Love Islander-turned-entrepreneur Molly-Mae Hague says she’s finally doing well after a hectic year of breaking up with partner Tommy Fury, experiencing single motherhood, releasing a documentary and then finally reuniting with the father of their child.

Becoming Love Island royalty since leaving the villa in 2019 in second place, Molly-Mae has been reported to have accumulated a huge net worth of £6million through brand deals, her YouTube channel and social media. The socialite has recently launched her own clothing line Maebae which is set to become a favourite with her 2million subscribers and 8.5million Instagram followers.

In her most recent vlog titled “A Well Overdue Catch-up… Let’s Talk”, which has reached over 200k views in the last 14 hours, Molly-Mae spoke about “how she was doing, truly,” since the Fury cheating scandal broke out. The new mother said: “I honestly feel like I am in such a good place at the minute and the happiness levels have been spiking recently,” suggesting towards her reunion with ex-fiancé Tommy being the source. She described the last few months as having “a crazy amount of ups and downs – over the last year really”. Molly-Mae then clarified that: “Currently, right now as we speak, I am feeling really really happy and glimmers of my true old self coming back”.

“I always do have this bad silly fear, that when things are really good, I get so anxious that something bad is around the corner. It is such a horrible mindset to have. Right now, I am really good. Because I am feeling so good, I want to say that I am in a good place at the minute.”

The entrepreneur then thanked the fan that asked the question, sharing that many had took to her Q&A to ask after her wellbeing and explained why she wanted to answer. Hague stated that: “Because I am feeling so good, I want to say that I am in a good place at the minute,” before continuing with her makeup routine.

The star has made headlines more than ever over the cheating scandal that broke in August last year where partner Tommy Fury was revealed to have cheated on the new mother (of the then-one year old Bambi) whilst on holiday in Dubai. Fury was seen partying topless with singer Chris Brown – One video that showed a woman squeezing his cheeks has since gone viral. Fans were understandably furious with the boxer as the pair were engaged to be married. The couple, who first met in series five of ITV’s dating show where Molly-Mae walked in as a bombshell, had been together for over five years and appeared happier than ever – until the story broke.

In a sweeping documentary, Molly-Mae welcomed fans into her home in a two-part series called Molly: Behind It All which covered the aftermath of the break up. In the third episode, she tells sister Zoe that “all [she] wants in this life to be with” her then-ex. She explained, saying her reason being is “to have another baby with him and to grow old as a family, and to live in a nice house together and have a nice life together,” adding “that’s all [she] wants”.

Including the exes New Year kiss in the second part teaser dropping this spring, Molly-Mae and Tommy have now been confirmed to be back together after spending Valentines together in a luxury hotel. Fans have spoken out about her decision to take back ‘soulmate’ Tommy, some understanding the decision to be made out of practicality as the mother has expressed difficulties raising Bambi alone. Others have not been so forgiving when it comes to cheating, despite the star trying her best to focus the split on being a result of Fury’s alcoholism.

In the recent vlog, the star shares that the next episodes of the series are currently being filmed and are due to be released this May – hinting that her and Fury’s reunion will the main theme of ‘part two’. She said that she “cannot imagine anything worse than make things up” for storylines and relies on events “organically happening,” therefore the nature of the show will rely on what happens and whether fans would prefer a different form than a documentary.

Previously, Fury confirmed their split to Men’s Health, saying: “We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore. It kills me to say it, but I couldn’t. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink”. Though he publicly spoke about his struggle with alcohol and the pressures of boxing, he denied any claims of infidelity – though the woman in question (OnlyFans model Katy Robertson) released supposed pics of the two of them in a hotel room and appeared on the The Reality Check Show podcast saying otherwise.

The couple have also been criticised for the timing of their break up, where both Hague and Fury’s documentaries were set to release early this year. Though it has been labelled a “publicity stunt” by several angry viewers, the PLT ambassador made sure to clear any rumours in the first part of her Prime show. Many viewers remain curious as to why the focus of their breakup – and reunion – has remained on alcoholism alone and not on the national scale cheating claims made over the past year. The fast reunion has also sparked concern for both Molly and Tommy as fans have speculated, if alcoholism was the case then, Tommy would surely need more time to address his addiction and enter rehab.

Before the documentary release in January, Molly-Mae said: “I wish it was a publicity stunt because it would have been a lot easier,” stating that that has been, “above everything, the most frustrating part. Because going through all of this with the turmoil of a breakup has been incredibly hard,” said the star. She went on to admit she sees all the comments and opened up about finding it “very painful to read because it’s real life”.

“Tommy and I have a baby together and it’s very, very real. It’s a really hard thing that we have both gone through the past six months,” said the star. Interestingly, a source at the time of the split claimed that Molly-Mae is “aware Tommy was unfaithful to her” and “believed it has happened a number of times”.

In yesterday’s vlog, Molly-Mae was also asked how she finds her daughter at age two. She described Bambi as her “little best friend” and gushed over her joy in being able to finally communicate with her child and see her grow. She then went on to discuss her new hobby – horse-riding. The mother described a terrible fall and expressed how thankful she was to only walk away with bruises. “I sometimes have flashbacks of it,” admitted the star.
