A star-studded cast are in the film that has one of the most quoted scenes in cinema

Few Good Men

Regarded by some as ‘one of the best movies of all time’ and a film that ‘proved Tom Cruise’s talent’, A Few Good Men is set to grace our TV screens this weekend. The cinematic gem, first unveiled in 1992, will be aired on Film4 at 9pm on Saturday, January 18.

For those who can’t wait or might miss the start, there’s no need to fret – it’s also available for streaming on Amazon Prime, provided you’re a subscriber.

A Few Good Men, a legal drama, is a silver screen adaptation of Aaron Sorkin’s play of the same name. Sorkin, who later created the hit TV series The West Wing and bagged an Oscar for his screenplay for The Social Network, penned the script.

The director’s chair was occupied by Rob Reiner, known for his work on beloved films like Misery, When Harry Met Sally, and This Is Spinal Tap. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Demi Moore, Kiefer Sutherland, Kevin Bacon, Jack Nicholson, and of course, Tom Cruise, reports the Daily Record.

Cruise steps into the shoes of Lt. Daniel Kaffee, a US military lawyer assigned to defend two US marines accused of murdering a fellow soldier at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base in Cuba. However, the case isn’t as straightforward as it seems, with a certain colonel (Nicholson) raising eyebrows.
