The Cream Floral Quilted Jacket from Nobody’s Child is a staple for the transition from winter to spring – and there’s one detail that makes it a seasonal staple
With spring on the horizon, our favourite shops are getting ready for the new season with an influx of new styles. Nobody’s Child is one of those shops gearing up for the seasonal transition, with a host on new garments dropping on the website – one of which is a gorgeous quilted jacket that is not only perfect for spring time with its colours and pattern, but it’s got a nifty detail that makes it a hard-working wardrobe essential.
The Cream Floral Reversible Quilted Jacket costs £125 – so it is a bit of an investment – but because both sides can be worn, you’re basically getting two in one – get two different looks, one jacket. Available in sizes XS to M (with L and XL out of stock), the jacket has got a button fastening at the front, making it extra cosy in that in-between weather.
With two vertical pockets that are great for your essentials, the boxy, quilted number looks fab over your favourite blue jeans and white T-shirt.

The jacket is super versatile and on one side has a cream coloured background on which red and light blue flowers lie. On the reverse, the background is navy blue with a lovely contrasting trim around the edges and pockets of the reverse’s pattern.
The sleeves have lovely volume to them (meaning you can get a good jumper underneath) and are a dramatic but stylish balloon shape, with what looks like tapering at the cuffs for a snug fit.
And it’s safe to say I’m obsessed with this new design – which looks to be an updated version of my favourite quilted number from the brand’s AW24 collection – read more of that here. It seems I’m not alone in my admiration for the jacket with many people bagging it since it launched.
Made from 100% organic cotton with the internal polyester wadding, the jacket is, if it’s anything like its sister product, breathable but warm. While it’s not had any reviews just yet on the website – negative or positive – when Nobody’s Child shared a video featuring the coat, shoppers were certainly impressed.
Posting a clip that was captioned: “Step into spring: one look at a time. From an olive coat, to a pop of sunshine in a yellow jumper, to a breezy floral dress, consider your wardrobe ready,” fashion fans showed their appreciation for the new range, leaving a string of heart eye emojis.
The brand recommends purchasing your usual size – although, if you want a more snug fit, it may be wise sizing down.
Padded jackets decorated in florals and paisley print have become more and more popular in the last few years and so Nobody’s Child isn’t the only place to bag yourself a gorgeous and reversible jacket of the same ilk. For example, River Island’s Blue Floral Stripe Reversible Quilted Jacket, £49, has florals and one side and bold blue stripes on the other. For a darker finish, Cotton Traders’ £49 printed cotton quilted jacket has a black and cream floral pattern. Bringing some sunshine colours into the mix, FatFace’s Ivory Quilted Historical Floral Print Jersey Jacket is £49.50 and comes decorated with pinks, oranges and more.
