New data asked women which celebrity would make them consider an affair – and the results are rather surprising given that the TV personality beat Cillian Murphy and Brad Pitt to the poll
Outspoken Piers Morgan is the celebrity that housewives most want a steamy affair with. The chat show host and former Good Morning Britain presenter tops a saucy new survey. He even beat heart-throbs Cillian Murphy, Brad Pitt and Idris Elba.
On hearing the result, Morgan – who is happily married – joked: “I would like to extend my sympathies to Cillian, Brad and Idris at this difficult time!” Some 1,237 female members of the dating website Illicit Encounters were polled and asked “Which celebrity would you most like to have a sordid and steamy affair with?” Their answers were quite surprising with the likes of Jeremy Clarkson and even Donald Trump getting a mention. But former BGT judge Morgan came in first with a whopping 59 per cent of the vote.
Women claimed they fancied him ”even though they knew they shouldn’t”. Runner-up was Peaky Blinders star Cilllian Murphy, Spiderman actor Tom Holland came third and Luther’s Idris Elba landed in fourth place.
Illicit Encounter’s resident sexpert Jessica Leoni said: “We were more surprised than anyone when the results came back. Who’d have thought Piers Morgan would attract such a following? But members said his loudmouth antics, sharp suits and confidence were a definite turn on. We think the fact that he’s on TV so much and is such a familiar face is a real pull for housewives when they’re thinking about having an affair. So if I’ve got any advice for would-be male suitors looking to attract horny housewives it would be – dress to impress and don’t hold back on your views.
Members were also asked to share their views on what makes Morgan so attractive. One woman, the wife of a banker from Surrey, said: “It’s a love-hate thing for me – in lots of ways I can’t stand up but I’m also really attracted to him even though I don’t want to be. It’s quite annoying – just like him!” Meanwhile, the wife of a hedge fund manager from Suffolk, said: “For me the turn on is being able to argue with him about all the things he’s wrong about.
“He says things for effect and I’d love to put him to rights. I’m slightly scared he’d win the argument though and end up seducing me. If that happened I’d hope he can live up to the bravado in the bedroom.”
A third – the wife of a stockbroker from Hertfordshire – said: “Everytime I see him on TV spouting nonsense I wish he’d shut up. At the same time I think his misplaced confidence is a real turn on. It’s a guilty pleasure and one that I’d never tell my husband – he can’t stand him.”
