Married to the Game, Amazon’s hit documentary exploring the lives of Premier League WAGs, is returning for a second season. The behind-the-scenes series sees the partners of some of the country’s biggest footballing stars revealing all about their glamourous lifestyle.

The new six-part series centres around wives and girlfriends of high-profile stars from Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea and Aston Villa, with exclusive access to their personal and professional lives. The new season will delve deeper than the first, with some familiar faces returning including Jorginho and Cat Harding, and Riyad Mahrez and Taylor Ward.

There’s also some extra additions to the cast with three new Premier League couples, including fashion influencer Gabrielle Figueiredo and her Arsenal husband Gabriel Magalhães. They are joined by Claudia Rodríguez, partner of Chelsea and Spain’s Euro 2024 winner Marc Cucurella, plus Stephanie Hope and Aston Villa Midfielder Leon Bailey.

Explaining what made her take part in the series, Stephanie said: “This was an opportunity for me to step out of the box and show what it’s like being me and what my life is like. It’s not the easiest thing.

“A lot of people have this interpretation that this life is so glamorous and it’s all glitter and stars and all this wonderfulness. I felt this was an opportunity for me to share my personal challenges and also my wins.”
