Peter Andre has expressed his pride in his two eldest children, Junior and Princess Andre, after they flew to Australia to visit his mum Thea, who is battling Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s

Peter Andre has opened up about how proud he is of his two eldest children, Princess and Junior Andre after they flew Down Under to spend time with his sick mum, who is battling Alzheimer’s and Parkinsons. Thea, who lives in Australia with Peter’s father, Savvas, was given her diagnosis in 2023 and it has been a huge source of heartache for the popstar, who lives with wife Emily in the UK.

Sharing his pride over Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, who he shares with ex wife Katie Price, Pete said: “Junior and Princess flew out to see my mum in Australia last week and I love them both so much for doing it. They’re such beautiful children and it makes me so grateful that they’re out there with her as I write this. I would’ve loved to have gone with them, but I’ve only just got back and I’m working. I love them so much for doing it and I know it’ll make my mum really, really happy.”

Thea and Savvas celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary last year and an emotional Pete acknowledged how “really tough it is to see your parents age or become ill.” Peter was born in the UK but moved to the Gold Coast in Australia with his Greek-Cypriot family when he was 10. He returned to the UK in nineties but takes multiple trips Down Under every year.

Ahead of his 52nd birthday on February 27, Pete, who also shares Theo, Amelia, 10, and baby girl Arabella with his wife Emily, said he’d love to be able to wave a magic wand and bring his parents back to good health.

“I’m very blessed in so many ways,” he said. “The only thing is my parents – I would give everything else up 100 fold just to have them in full health and back to their youth, but, unfortunately, life isn’t like that.”

In a heartfelt Instagram post shared after his return, the Mysterious Girl singer shared a video of Thea and Savvas, saying he couldn’t “stop thinking about my parents”.

“I’m having a moment. Sorry. Just got off the phone with them and looked back at the pics from a few weeks ago. Please call someone you love and tell them as many times as you can just how much you do love them. Maybe do it tomorrow as it’s late now.”
