The luxurious hamper includes treats for the whole family, with gifts such as Bordeaux Merlot, Milk Chocolate Florentines and British Ale and Caramelised Onion Chutney

Festive shoppers searching for family gifts have praised a ‘great quality’ Marks and Spencer’s hamper. Priced at £55, the M&S Collection Hamper is ‘worth the money’ according to impressed customers, and it should still arrive in time for Christmas if you place your order soon.

As per Marks and Spencer’s website, the latest you can order is at 5pm on December 22 for Christmas delivery. The ‘beautiful’ Collection Hamper is filled with premium food and drink, according to the product description.

It’s sure to delight families of all ages. However, it’s worth noting that not everyone can enjoy every product, as there’s alcohol included for older members of the family only.

The gift hamper includes:

  • Bordeaux Merlot (75cl) (Alcohol content- 13.5%)
  • Collection Cornish Cruncher All Butter Biscuits (80g)
  • Collection Milk Chocolate Florentines (170g)
  • Collection Rye Sourdough Crackers (130g)
  • Collection British Ale and Caramelised Onion Chutney (230g)
  • Collection Shortbread Fingers (165g)

M&S says the selection is vegetarian. It is not suitable for nut or peanut allergy sufferers. Reviewing the product, a happy shopper shared: “Beautiful and a lovely gift to give someone special, quality and a good price.”

A second said: “Hamper looks stylish and contents look good and there is nice variety.” Another praised: “Very good hamper, it is worth the money. I will recommend it.” Someone added: “Great quality within the hamper, we loved it all 10/10.” A fifth raved: “Wonderful choice for a gift for a special love one. Would definitely recommend.”

However, some shoppers felt differently about the hamper. One customer replied: “Very disappointed as there were not many items in the basket, mostly straw. Would not order again not worth the money.”

A second thought: “Overpriced but nice products and basket. I’m guessing most the value is in the basket itself,” and someone suggested: “Not a lot of things in this hamper for the money. Better to make your own if you don’t have to send it far.”

Alternatively, M&S also offers a Red Wine & Nibbles Gift Box for £35, a Pop the Prosecco Gift Box for £35, and an Italian Treats Gift Box for £50.

Elsewhere, Selfridges offers a Christmas Malt Ball and Mulled Wine gift box for £35, a Cheese and Chutney gift box for £40, and The Christmas Treats gift box for £60. As per Selfridges’ website, order by December 19 for standard delivery and December 22 for nominated delivery before Christmas.
